Feb 2003 to present, Sr. Schlumberger DESC Engineer - BP Houston
Responsiblities include client support, fracturing treatment design/evaluation for wells in BP's Rockies Business Unit (Wamsutter and Jonah/Pinedale) and liasion with field operations. Modeling and evaluation are performed using FracCADE software.
Responsible for the introduction on new technology as it applies to BP requirements (ClearFRAC, CoilFRAC, CHDT, Pressure While Drilling, CoilFLATE, FAT).
Responsible for contractual issues, incident review and follow up, scheduling assistance, liason between BP-Houston and Schlumberger field operations and coordination of service requirements for generated designs.

2001-2003, Operations Manager for Well Services (Dowell), California.
Responsibilities included both onshore and offshore operations as well as two remote bases. California operations covered work in the additional states of Nevada and Arizona.
Responsible for all aspects of the services provided in California including but not limited to financial, safety, service quality, personnel and regulatory requirements.
Personnel responsibilities: managed ~120 personnel made up of equipment operators, maintenance personnel, engineers, sales personnel and product line managers.
Financial responsibilites: managed two main facilites in California and two remote facilites. Total assest value (equipment, etc) was worth ~ 25 million and revenue generation of ~ 34 million per year.
Developed a Schlumberger (SLB) behavioral based safety program which dramatically improved safety performance. As testament to the success of the safety program, the Bakersfield District received the ChevronTexaco President's award for 1 year without an OSHA recordable. Bakersfield Operations was also awarded a Western Area award for the Best Achievement in the Management Systems Audit.
Regulatory requirements involved OHSA, CARB, SARA reporting, storm water isuses, air permitting issues, etc.

1999 - 2001, Field Service Manager Dowell - Adelaide Australia
Responsibilities included stimulation, coiled tubing and cementing services - including remote logistics, personnel management, parts and chemical procurement, sales and engineering. Assumed management of cementing services near the end of assignment. Stimulation services covered both tight gas formations and coal bed methane.
All operations in Australia were performed out of remote bases. Personnel, equipment and material logistics were a major part of the operation. Logistics requirements included the coordination of personnel from all parts of Australia, the movement of equipment across the continent for various projects and the importation of materials from Europe, Asia and the US.
1997-1999, District Engineer – Rock Springs, Wyoming
Responsible for non-alliance stimulation design and candidate recognition using FracCADE in conjunction with Dwight's Perform (Nodal Analysis), Zoneaid, and ProCADE; provided support and review for identification and development of "best practices" by Dowell/Amoco Green River Basin Alliance.
Responsible for Quality Assurrance/Quality Control (QA/QC) on all critical treatments by:
* Reviewing and performing on-site fluid analysis (e.g, crosslinked and linear gel rheology, break tests, vortex closure and delay times).
* Provide additional on-site QA/QC by monitoring additive rates real time, mass balance calculations, etc.
Provided real-time DataFRAC and FracCADE analysis.
Provided field support for development of the FracCAT 3.2 software and ClearFRAC LC ( J526) fluid systems.
Functioned as district lab supervisor, computer administrator, district technical mentor (e.g., field engineers, supervisors, and equipment technicians), non-alliance sales engineer and back-up Field Service Manager for stimulation, coiled tubing and cementing.

1996-1997, Stimulation Engineer/Supervisor – Rock Springs, Wyoming
Stand alone service supervisor for stimulation treatments. Supervised various treatments ranging from low gel delayed systems, nitrified foam fracs, multi-stage treatments, matrix acidizing, gelled oil, CO2 foam fracturing, acid fracturing. Majority of stimulation treatments ranged from 5,000 psi to 10,000 psi surface treating pressures.
Maintained and operated fracturing equipment.
Training:
Attended Dowell Frac Intern school. The school specialized in real time analysis using FracCADE software, post treatment analysis using FracCADE software, fluids QA/QC, breaker technology, fracturing theory taught by Nolte, Elbel and Boney.
Co-authored "Frac Internship – Vol 1", internal manual that details the stimulation design process, datafrac and on site evaluation of stimulation treatments using the FracCADE software.
1995-1996, Coiled Tubing Engineer/Supervisor – Rock Springs, Wyoming
Functioned as cell leader managing day to day activity in the district as well as functioned as a stand alone service supervisor. Supervised coiled tubing operations ranging from hangoffs, foamed nitrogen clean outs, drill outs using various types and sizes of down hole motors and bits. Supervised E-line work including DSP, FoamMAT, perforating, casing collar locator for precise bridge plug placement.

Field Engineer Intern. Determined oxygen, carbon dioxide, and sulfide ion content of water samples from production wells. Performed candidate recognition of wells for re-perforation.
