Worked as a Fitter on boiler, doing turning work and all necessary repairs and routine services on mills, pumps, valves, gearboxes and fans, chain drives, pressure vessels, pipe installations. Done welding and cutting work. Done plate metal work. Worked on HFO burner. In this period as Senior Fitter supervised seven fitters and seven assistant fitters working on boilers auxiliary and turbine auxiliary, doing routine maintenance and brake down maintenance. Worked on Babcock tube miles and auxiliaries.
Started working at Lethabo Power Station while still in Construction. Supervising pressure tests and plant installations.
