Upon the satisfactory completion and close out of the Juno facilities fabrication contract, I took up the position of Contracts Advisor to Noble Drilling on the contract for the fabrication of the Clair Phase 1 Drilling Facilities. I was the sole contracts and commercial representative for BP's Project Management Contractor (Noble Drilling) on the Clair drilling facilities fabrication site and was responsible for all post contract commercial activities including contractual correspondence, processing interim payments, review of contractor's claims and subsequent recommendation to management of proposed methods of resolution.

Responsible for all pre-contract administration on the fabrication of the Scott Field drilling modules, including redrafting of contract terms & conditions, preparation of schedules of rates, invitation to tender, evaluation, negotiation and recommendation to senior management and development co-venturers. Preparation of budget forecast for all Scott Module sites.
Also responsible for all post-contract administration and cost reporting on the drilling modules site including supervision of measurement team, contractual correspondence, minutes of meetings, review and agreement of variations and claims, approval of star rates, processing of monthly payment applications, and early agreement of final account within budget.
Deputising for Site Manager during holiday absence period.
Concurrent with the above workload further responsibilities included all post-contract administration and cost reporting on the Scott subsea structures fabrication, the Scott gas treatment module fabrication, and the Scott flare boom fabrication of which were being built concurrently in the North East of England. All final accounts came to a satisfactory conclusion with early agreement, and all within budget.
Tasked with the role of Site Manager for final few months of the drilling modules contract, upon redeployment of the Site manager to the hook up base, before returning to London where responsibilities included preparation of insurance claims and finalising close out of other major fabrication contracts.
Located to the Aberdeen office to finalise insurance claims and the close out of minor contracts.
