ƒá Currently working on ION exchange Resin using Exothermic and Catalysts processes using distillation columns, two phase separations and striping with high temperature/ pressure reactors, vacuum compression units and gas injection, also operating/ monitoring Amine and Caustic scrubber columns heat exchangers using PLCs and Alarm panels.
ƒá The finished product is used in nuclear PowerStation's to strip and recover spent Uranium, oil and gas processing, ultra water filtration and effluent plants etc.
ƒá Working with a variety of Chemicals with different processes i.e. Styrene; Methyl Chloride Gas; Methyl Acrylate; DMAPA; MIBC and DIBK. Also to keep the plant running in a safe and productive manner, adhering to HSE and COSHH regulations, also working with the HAZOP team using Leader 4 software.

ƒá Working with Chemicals such as Styrene; Acrylonitrile (Cyanide); Butyl Acrylate; Ethyl Acrylate; Methyl Methacrylate; Ammonia: GMAA; GAA; Ammonium Hydroxide; Urea, Acetic Acid, Sodium Hydroxide solid and liquid forms, also Ethylene Glycol and Hydrogen Peroxides.
ƒá Worked at Dewsbury west Yorkshire on a project to commission and utilize a new multi million pound processing plant and reactor working closely with engineers using DCS to optimize output and highlight safety issues.
ƒá Fully conversant with permit to work and lock off procedures.
ƒá Training and hands on operating of plant reactors, various types of valves, pumps vessels and tanks using Fisher-Rosemount software RS3 with batch process and manual override inputs, duties include data submission using MS EXCEL and MS WORD and filling in of log book handovers using both written and verbal communication.
ƒá Duties include controlling process start-up, shutdown and troubleshooting; monitoring outside process equipment. Commissioning new equipment and modifying existing to meet product demand better access and safety.
ƒá Close liaison with process Chemists, Engineers and Managers on preparation of new procedures and amending existing ones.
ƒá Monitoring and regulating feed flows pressures temperatures and weights to within standard chemical procedures and recording of all data to spreadsheets.
ƒá Taking product samples and pH, gel, monomer analysis readings for converting the data for possible blending of off grade material i.e. adjusting pH and partial size also working out of dilution additions etc.
ƒá Transferring and monitoring of finished product from blending tanks through filtration system using correct method and size of filter mesh from data acquired, checking/ walking pipelines for possible product leakage's damage, operating valves both manual and computer controlled and pumps to bulk storage's or road tankers.
ƒá Using Honeywell DCS to control and operate continuous waste water plant also train operators in the use of running procedures.
ƒá Trained on S.A.P. (ERP R3) using data input.
ƒá First line maintenance to keep the plant running efficiently and safely.
