Senior Electro-Mechanical Crane Technician / Repairman
Provides effective maintenance to 61 units of Overhead Traveling Cranes (OHTC) of Hot & Cold Mill lines including OHTC's in Maintenance Shops and to attain optimum level of overhead crane equipment reliability and productivity through:
 Services, troubleshoots, replaces and calibrates all electrical & electronic control system of all OHTC's such as Relay – ECB – Thyristor speed controllers, Brake controllers, Motor controllers (Coil Lifters, Slab Tong, etc.)
 Calibrates and sets protective devices such as Magnetic Thermal circuit breakers, protection switches, motor overload relays, linetronex motor protection, load cells and ECB and Thyristor speed control parameters.
 Repairs recondition, and replaces contractors auxiliary relays, timer relays, thermistor relays, limit switches, thyristors, rectifiers, overload relays, circuit breakers, switches, control transformers, electronic cards, resistor coils, capacitors; power and control wing, wire/ device terminals and terminal blocks; motor grid resistors, slip ring devices, carbon brushes and thermistors; H-bar power collectors, collector arms and contact blocks; and electric motor, brake coils, main disconnect switches (fused and non-fused) and cable reeler.
 Executes crane electrical control modification and rewiring using approved modified circuits.
 Performs modular replacements of control panels for Hoist, Travel, Trolley and Brake machineries,
 Interprets and analyzes electrical / electronics drawings / schematic as applied to 61 OHTC's of various make and technology.
 Test and activates all safety features and protective devices; such as limit switches, brake system, bumpers, load cells, alarm signal/ indicating lights, lighting system; circuit breakers, fused disconnects, overload relays and other trip devices.
 Ensures correct application of electrical standard practices in all OHTC Electrical maintenance activities.
 Inspects, replaces and align all electric Motors, Eddy Current brakes, Float Shaft, Gear Boxes, Cable Drums, Cable Reels, Track wheels, End Carriages, Sheaves, and Magnetic/hydro-pneumatic and brake assemblies.
 Inspects, services, repairs and calibrates magnetic and hydro-pneumatic brake system.
 Inspects, lubricates, replaces and reeves wire rope cables.
 Lubricates bearings of track wheels, gear reducers, electric motors, rope drums, Sheaves, ECBs, and repack flexible couplings.
 Maintains correct oil level of all gearboxes and regularly replenish graphite lubricant for track wheels.
 Maintains operation ability of all drive motors and control panel ventilation filtration and cooling system.
 Repairs, replaces, and reconditions Coil Lifters, Slab Tong and Slewing Machineries.
 Details and prepares drawing sketches for critical hydraulic and mechanical parts for fabrication or procurement.
 Interpret and analyzes drawing sketches of mechanical equipment, hydro-pneumatic and lubrication system as applied to 61 OHTC's of various make and technology.
 Operates OHTC during actual dismantling, rigging, installation or replacement of electric motors, gear reducers, ECBs, panels and cable drums.
 Operates and Test all OHTC function after each major replacement and repair activities prior to turn over to crane operator.
 Ensures proper turnover of OHTC with ISO confirmation form duly signed by Crane Operator or Shift-in-charge (SIC)
 Reads and understand the standards and manuals for crane system operation, maintenance and inspection manual which is necessary for effective performance of the job.
 Recommends innovation to improved crane maintenance and operational efficiency, and practices it for resolution and implementation.
 Prepares ready spares and supplies for immediate use when needed. Maintain Tools and instruments to ensure its constant availability and effectiveness.
 Prepares and accomplishes Inspection Reports, Servicing and Repair Reports, and spares Preparation Job Tickets, and submits them to the OHTC Services Department Head through the Sr. Supervisor
 Observes diligently the plant safety rules and regulations, such as the wearing of hard hats, safety shoes, safety belts, and respirators, reports unsafe condition such as slippery platforms, walkways, and unfix railings, particularly in workplace safety meetings.
 Follows and observes the personnel Code of Conduct and Discipline.
 Attend seminars, on-the-job trainings and other company-sponsored activities
 Performs other related jobs as assigned by the Sr. Supervisor time to time.

Provides support and assistance to team leader for efficient human resource management, benefits and payroll handling supervision, serving the manpower exigencies necessary for the plant facilities preservation works including review and implementation of existing company policies attune to the present realities of the company
 Prepare manpower pooling for the needed manpower requirements of the plant preservation works, including "look ahead" manpower schedule of personnel on rotation.
 Prepare guidelines and implementing rules for the improvement of rotation exercise vis-à-vis budgetary considerations, skills and competence.
 Conduct employees orientation as regards company expected norms of conduct, output and efficiency, performance appraisal and other personnel related issues.
 Prepare inter-office memorandums as regards new guidelines and improved personnel policies complimenting rotation exercise.

Pricing/Inventory Assistant – Asset Disposal Group
Provides support and assistance to Disposal head for effective asset disposal management necessary for the inventory and classification of various assets as mandated by the liquidator.
 Undertake item for item inventory of idle assets necessary for disposal through the mandate of the NSC liquidator
 Prepare listing of various assets already under inventory and conduct physical item for item evaluation as bases for pricing considerations.
 Conduct physical retrieval of various idle other assets from numerous locations within plant premises ideal for disposal or future plant facility use.
 Collate various inventory reports and make recommendations as to the degree of viability, usefulness and importance.
 Coordinate with various would be buyers of "for disposal assets" and conduct initial pricing evaluation of different proposals from interested buyers.
 Drafts memos / communications and make recommendations as to whom proposal is to be selected and awarded.

Electrical Engineer I
To ensure that the project is constructed and is being carried out in accordance with the approved construction drawings, specification and standard engineering practice. Assist section head performing engineering, inspection, planning and design works. Oversee field contractor in the implementation of the project in accordance with sound electrical engineering standards and practices.
 Oversee and monitor contractor's filed operation, to ensure that all works are satisfactorily performed, conforming to standard engineering practices, in good workmanship and quality.
 Prepare technical evaluation of contractor's claim such as Extra Works, Change Orders and other Technical Proposals.
 Performs technical evaluation and recommendation of material supply offers.
 Check and inspect material deliveries for use in the construction.
 Report to project management any deviation and field changes based on actual site monitoring and field implementation.
 Evaluate correctness and do comparative analysis vis-à-vis progress report submitted by the contractor and progress monitor for approval recommendation of contractor's progress billing.
 Conduct various pre-installation, no load and load testing of all related equipment in accordance with manufacturer's standard pre-testing recommendations.
 Prepare appropriate documents relative to the commissioning and post-start-up of all newly installed equipment for acceptance.
 Oversee contractor's works to ensure that all safety practices and procedures are adhered to at all times in all phases of construction.
 Prepares daily progress report related to project installation and construction.
 Other as may be required by the Project Head.
