DUTIES:
Office: making the structure contour maps and geological well forecast (for new horizontal wells) using FINDER & CPS3 programs, following up the geological operational activities of the current wells and updates all geological data.
RIG SITE: -follow up the directional drilling operation (geolosteering tools)(MWD&LWD TOOLS), ensure that the actual well direction as the plan, if any change in the formation tops making recalculations for the updated landing point and give it to the directional engineer to adjust the well trajectory.
- Detecting the coring points and cut the cores as per the geological program. (Described below in details).

Started working in Belayim petroleum company (PETROBEL) in Operation Geology as Well-site Geologist in many areas such as Gulf of Suez (Offshore and onshore), Nile Delta area (Gas Fields).

Responsibilities of Operations Geologist:

* Monitoring, Quality Control and Supervision mud logging operations. Insure all company procedures are carried out properly.
* Insure all logs are kept up to date.
* Insure all gas equipment is calibrated daily.
* Insure all samples are caught at prescribed intervals, described adequately as per company standards, and using company abbreviations.
* Insure all hydrocarbon shows are described properly.
* Insure all samples are shipped to the assigned location.
* Monitoring, Quality Control and Supervision of Wire Line Logging including providing order of logging schedule to logging engineer, ensure logging tools are calibrated according to company requirements, run pressure surveys and RFT's, Recovery of Fluid Samples and SIDEWALL cores insure their packaging and shipment, Insure all logs are run according to company standards.
* Transmission of wire line logs data via company communication system, quality control of wireline logs, velocity and check shot surveys.
* Monitoring, Quality Control and Supervision of coring operations liaise with company man, geological personnel, coring venders, be informed of coring requirements for each well. Supervise core recovery.
* Mark Core. Make description of well site core chips. Organize shipment of cores to assigned location.
Reporting responsibilities:
* Daily reporting of all relevant details and QC problems.
* Faxing Mud Log Daily. Faxing wireline logs, as they are available.
* Faxing MWD/LWD logs, Hand delivery of logs, tapes and reports to the appropriate office.
* Maintain geological records and material inventory in local affiliate office. Assist company personnel in the shipment of geological data and materials.
* Using company forms exclusively.
