Responsibilities:
* Lead technician for the functional test, commissioning, start up of new plants. Check and review all instrument data specification, loop wiring drawing, I/O list, termination schedule, set points, alarms, function block, DCS configuration, PLC configuration, SCADA system, serial communication and Fire and Gas system as per QP standard.
* Work site supervisor for the maintenance activities for the different location of the plant and directly report to Engineers for the in progress work regarding planning for preventive and corrective maintenance, functional check for new installed devices or instruments or equipments, punch listing for the ongoing projects and closing of work orders thru SAP.
* Assist vendor for installation, configuration of control modules, controllers on DCS and PLC, create functional block of process variables such as face plate, template, Work station, nodes, alarm, set point, feedback, sequence and ESD using Delta V Engineering station, establish and configure communication between DCS and its different nodes and SIMA-AUMA controller for MOVs, DDC for HVAC system, Fire and Gas system, UPS, VSDS, Switchgear and MCC trouble if required.
* Maintenance works on process control instrumentation e.g. pressure, level, flow and temperature transmitter and indicators, control valves, ESD valves, Motor Operated Valve Damper actuator Valves, Self-Operated Valves hydraulic system and Solenoid Operated Valves.
* Carries out installation of control modules, downloading of I/O-controllers on DCS and PLC during up-gradation, loop checking, commissioning and start-up. Establish and configure communication between DCS and its different nodes and devices.
* Supervise for the smooth and continuous operation of 13 Main Seawater Cooling pumps with maximum capacity of 45,000 cubic meters per hour each pump without interruption.
* Carries out installation, commissioning and maintenance on Modern and State of the Art Fire and Gas detection and Fire protection system such as smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual alarm call points, High Sensitive Smoke Detector (VESDA), combustible and toxic gas detectors (H2S, CO, CL2 H2, Methane) and Fire suppression system (FM200), Deluge system, sprinkler system which install on local control center's battery limits of GTL plant, LNG plant, Gas processing plant, Olefins plant, Gas Refinery and LNG Tank Farm.
* Conduct monthly Custody transfer calibration for all flow metering with the client or consumer representative as per company standards.
* Check for the specification and data collection of the new instruments, devices or equipments for maintenance procedure and spare parts.
* Installation, commissioning, modification and software up-gradation of Fire and gas detection system, Fire suppression system and DDC-HVAC control system, DCS and PLC control networks.
* Repairing job of electronics equipments for instrument, analyzer, fire and gas, DCS, PLC, HVAC control modules, telephone and public address equipment.
