Inspection Operations
„Ã Conduct inspection of various static equipments including tanks, pressure vessels, heaters, towers, flare stacks and pipelines.
„Ã Inspect in-process fabrication of storage tanks, pressure vessels, piping and associated structures as per ITP.
„Ã Supervise all on - stream and shutdown inspection activities for stationary equipment and pressure relieving devices.
„Ã Carry out corrosion monitoring, root cause failure analysis, risk - based inspection, mechanical integrity studies and fitness - for - service evaluation.
„Ã Identify areas of concern and propose dedicated inspection procedures for their resolution and to improve plant integrity.
„Ã Undertake on-stream inspection and remaining life calculation of static equipments as part of Asset Integrity Programs.
„Ã Perform hydro testing of tanks and erected pipelines; conduct material inspection and verification, fit up inspection, weld visual and dimensional inspection.
„Ã Witness and review reports of PQR tests and all the NDT requirements like MPI, DPT, UT, PWHT, vacuum testing, visual inspection, hydrostatic testing and interpretation of radiographs.
Inspection Planning / Review
„Ã Advise on repair techniques, materials selection, welding procedures, inspection and testing requirements and establish coating / lining specifications.
„Ã Develop inspection and testing plans / procedures to ensure the adequacy of mechanical integrity of process equipments and piping.
„Ã Review and approve NDT methods for on-stream and out-of-service inspection; evaluate and approve NDT sub contractor profiles.
„Ã Review and certify welding procedure specification (WPS), supporting PQR, qualification of welders, WQT reports and welder cards.
„Ã Review line history sheets, weld mapping, P&ID, material traceability reports and hydrostatic test packages.
„Ã Prepare test packages for hydrostatic testing, coordinate NDT activities and attend repairs as per approved repair procedures.
Processes
„Ã Possesses experience and working knowledge with a wide range of processes including:
* Hot dip galvanization of materials.
* Welding procedure of S.S piping, alloy steel piping etc.
* Hot Tapping and Tie- in procedures as per API 2201.
* Welding processes like SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, GMAW and SAW.
* Fabrication of different material under P-numbers 1, 3, 4,5,8,9,34,43,45 and combinations.
* Process knowledge of saline water conversion, steel plants and methanol plants

* Sandblasting & painting as per steel structural painting council (SSPC) and NACE standards.
Quality Management
„Ã Lead quality processes to achieve project requirements, arrange and coordinate testing with third party inspection agencies.
„Ã Understand contract and specification requirements for the related discipline activity; perform inspections to comply with approved ITP's (Inspection & Test Plans) and code requirements.
„Ã Prepare and maintain related documents such as Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and Corrective Action Reports (CAR).
„Ã Understand the implementation of quality management systems and ensure quality records are maintained for system auditing.

An organization comprising of Kuwait Gulf Oil Company (KGOC) & Saudi Arabian Chevron established for the management of oil exploration in the onshore Partitioned Neutral Zone (PNZ). It operates 4 fields - Wafra, South Umm Gudair, South Fuwaris & Humma and currently has a production of 350,000 BOPD. Reporting to the Superintendent, Asset Integrity Division and leading a team of inspectors.
Responsibility Outline: Inspection of Static Equipment, Baseline survey of equipments, Supervision of On - Stream and Shutdown Inspection Activities, Corrosion Monitoring, Failure Investigation, Plant Integrity Improvement, HSE Compliance, SOP / Policy Implementation, Technical Advice on Repairs / Materials / Welding Procedures / Testing Requirements, Development of Inspection / Testing Plans / Procedures, Remaining Life Calculation of Static Equipments, Review & Approval of NDT Methods / NDT Sub Contractor Profiles, Preparation of Inspection Business Plans & Budgets
