Work Experience:
Over 18 years extensive experience in Onshore & Offshore (10 years gulf, 1year Africa, 1½ years Offshore, 5 years in India) in the field of Quality assurance and Quality control worked in client side and contractor side within the petrochemical, Refinery and Oil, Gas, Offshore platforms, Turret and Offshore Process Barge fabrication. Good working knowledge of international codes and specification.
Onshore: Good working knowledge of all common welding processes used within the industry, Including manual, semi automatic and automatic processes use in precision manufacture of pressure Piping systems, Tank constructions, pipelines, pressure vessel inspection, heavy fabrication and general construction Ability to work unsupervised and maintain Full traceability and document control for individual projects. As Built drawings after field erection of the each lines. Experienced in full project quality control surveillance from start up to final project close out, including welding procedure qualification, welder qualification, material traceability, dimensional control, NDT Review, Radiographic film interpretation, PWHT review, pneumatic and hydrostatic testing. Experienced in survey of mechanical installation to verify mechanical integrity in accordance with specification and good engineering practice. Fully familiar with the requirements and control procedures for the welding of common steel grades, high strength alloy steel, stainless steel, inconel and duplex steels.
Offshore: Experienced at senior clients inspector level in the quality control offshore fabrication, hook-up works, riser-tie in joints, structural, hydro testing, pressure vessel repair works, painting inspections in well head process, living platforms, piping fabrications and erections, jackets, drilling deck, boat landling, bridges, sub sea piping, riser pipe etc.
Duties in Nigeria: Review of welding procedure specification and procedure qualification records. Witness welder and procedure qualification test. Verification of materials, dimensions, joint preparation, fit-up welder and procedure approvals interpretation of radiography films and fabrication drawings. Witness pressure testing and heat treatment review and approval of NDT Reports, hydro test reports, heat treatment charts and reports.Monitor QC reports, non-conformance reports and corrective actions.
