JOB PROFILE
1 Involved in Pre-commissioning activities such as Water Flushing, Air Blowing, Cardboard Blasting, degreasing, chemical cleaning, refractory dry out including system dry out, Catalyst Loading activity.
2 To perform mechanical run test of pumps and compressors with Vendor.
3 Checking the plant with respect to P&ID.
4 Co-ordination of various DCS and Field operations for commissioning of the units at various levels for the timely execution of the allotted jobs.
5 Involved in Control valves stroke checking, loop, checking, logic checking and graphics correction as per P & ID in co-ordination with instruments department.
6 Safe start up and shut down of the plant, maintaining process parameters without deviation to maximum extent.
7 Stabilizing the plant during emergencies and trouble shooting.
8 Involved in Guaranty Test Run of the unit and to provide training to local employees.
9 Manpower handling, Planning for day-to-day production to meet customer's requirement.

1) From June 2008 to Till Date
Presently working with M/S Larsen & Toubro Limited as a Commissioning Supervisor for pre-commissioning, commissioning and operation of the LUBE BASE OIL PROJECT (Vacuum Distillation Unit) at Melaka - Malaysia.

2) From September 2007 to February 2008.
Worked for DODSAL ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION (P) LTD, as Commissioning Engineer for Inter Refineries Cross Country Multiproduct Pipeline Project and Tank Farm with zero slop philosophy, at ADNOC (TAKREER) Mussafah, Abu – Dhabi Terminal.

3) Worked for M/S Larsen & Toubro Limited for pre-commissioning, commissioning and operation of the following projects.

a) From December 2006 to May 2007.
Worked for commissioning and operation of the L. P. Gas Booster Station (HUP) at Abu Dhabi Gas Company (GASCO Bu Hasa), Abu Dhabi – UAE, as a Commissioning Engineer / Panel Operator. The unit having two trains with capacity of 32MMSCFD each. Here I was involved in Process Guaranty Test Run.

b) From May 2006 to November 2006.
Worked for pre-commissioning of the NAPTHA HYDROTREATER (699TMTPA) & ISOMERIZATION (515TMTPA) unit, UOP Process. at MANGLORE REFINERY & PETROCHEMICALS LTD. MANGLORE (Karnataka) - India, as a Commissioning Engineer.

c) From October 2005 to January 2006.
Worked for commissioning of the SULPHUR RECOVERY unit having capacity 50.00MTPD at TAKREER (A Division of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company) Ruwais refinery, Abu Dhabi – UAE site, as a Panel Operator. ORTLOFF USA technology. Here I was involved in Process Guaranty Test Run.

d) From September 2004 to October 2005.
Worked for commissioning and operation of the SULPHUR RECOVERY UNIT, SOUR WATER STRIPPING UNIT and AMINE TREATING UNIT at BHARAT PETROLEUM CORPORATION LTD. MUMBAI Refinery (India), as a Commissioning Engineer / Panel Operator. The SRU plant was having two trains bearing capacity of 70 MTPD each. DELTA HUDSON Canada technology.

e) From August 2003 to February 2004.
Worked for pre-commissioning, commissioning and operation of the DIESEL / KEROSENE HYDROTREATER and AMINE TREATING UNIT of INDIAN OIL CORPORATION LTD. Digboi – Assam refinery (India), as a panel operator. The Hydrotreater plant was having capacity 0.33 MMTPA with 104 Kg/cm2g Hydrogen pressure. UOP process.

4) From April 2002 to July 2003.
Worked for M/S TECHNIP COFLEXIP LIMITED & M/S PROJECTS & DEVELOPMENTS OF INDIA LIMITED, as a Panel Operator, for the commissioning and operation of the DIESEL / KEROSENE HYDROTREATER unit at INDIAN OIL CORPORATION LTD. Guwahati- Assam Refinery (India). The unit capacity was 0.6MMTPA with 81Kg/cm2g Hydrogen pressure. UOP process.

5) From June 2000 to July 2001
Worked for M/S K. T. INDIA LIMITED as a Commissioning Engineer / Panel Operator for the commissioning of the DIESEL HYDROTREATER Unit of HINDUSTAN PETROLEUM CORPORATION LIMITED Mumbai Refinery (India). The unit capacity was 1.5MMTPA with 39Kg/cm2g Hydrogen pressure. UOP process.

6) From May 1998 to May 2000
Worked for M/S SAUDI FORMALDEHYDE CHEMICAL CO. LTD. Al-Jubail (KSA), as a Shift – Engineer. The company was engaged in the production of Aqueous Formaldehyde (AF-37), Urea Formaldehyde Concentrate (UF-85), Hexa Metylene Tetra Amine. Haldoor Topsy Technology.

7) From April 1982 to May 1998
Worked for M/S MOHATTA CHEM (P) LTD. Roha Dist. Raigad (India). Here I joined as Junior Production Chemist and resigned as a Shift Incharge. The company was engaged in production of Aqueous Formaldehyde, having two units with two different technologies. Capacity of each unit was 50 MTPD.
I was a member of commissioning team during commissioning of second Formaldehyde Unit. This was the first unit in India with latest technology. Cora Engineering Technology.
The First Unit was being operated above HEL of Methanol air mixture and The Second Unit was being operated below LEL of methanol.

7) From April 1980 to April 1982

Worked for M/S JAYCEE CHEMICALS (P) LTD. Taloja, Dist. Raigad (India), as a Production Chemist in the Bulk Drugs producing unit such as Para Nitro Benzoic Acid, Di-Chloro Benzoic Acid, Para Chloro Benzoic acid.
