It is with eagerness that I submit my resume for your consideration for a position within your QA/QC department. I am looking for work as a contractor or staff position. I am a Level II CWB visual weld inspector with B31.3 code qualification.
Throughout my career I have obtained a Welder/Fitter certificate, Metallurgy Certificate, and have completed the final year of Welding Engineering Technician (with three first year computer courses out standing). As well I have completed the required courses to obtain CGSB certification for MPI and LPI level 2. I successfully completed the Red Seal certificate for journeymen welder. I have training in UT, RT, and film interpretation.
My QA/QC experience entails development of inspection and test plans (ITP's), weld mapping, the documentation and interpretation of Welder's qualifications and certifications, torque values, hydro and
Vacuum testing, developing and testing of PQR's and WPS's, as well as visual and dimensional inspection. I have confidence in my Knowledge and ability in regards to inspections and applicable paper work. Throughout my formal education and job related experiences, I have become competent with codes and the act of employing them. I have held the positions of Inspector, Lead, and Manager within the piping industry.
I have been exposed to a variety of materials and techniques in the Manufacturing field, and I consider myself to be a quick learner and a competent trouble-shooter.
