As the hydrocarbon industry handles large quantities of flammable, corrosive, explosive and toxic materials, 02 deficiencies, H2S area, Naked flame or arcs, flying particles or sparks, electricity, Radiography, Equipment/moving machineries, Crane operation, Pressure Testing, Confined space etc both during construction/commissioning/start up and operation, so it's agree that potential for serious accidents is obvious. To prevent these accidents not to happen, it's vital that safe system of work should be in placed and that is exactly my area of specialisation on QATAR-GAS EXPANSION PROJECT, to manage the hazards while performing the task safely, coordinated and consistent manner without harm to People, the environment and company asset by reducing, eliminating and manage the risk through PERMIT-TO-WORK system.
Currently accountable for interface and coordination of entire QGX Expansion project' permit to Work system. Spanning construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and production between the client Qatar-Gas-ESU SIMOPS/OPCO/PMT/CTJV and serves as a focal point interfering between other neighbouring projects like Ras-Gas, QCS-QG3&4 and RLIC respectively, project in the Ras Laffan Industrial City, Qatar.
* Leading the daily administration, supervision and control of the Permit-To-Work system;
* Responsible for developing and implementing Safe Work System and Permit to Work System at the QATAR GAS EXPANSION PROJECT. Implement site wide Safe Work Systems, Auditing Procedure, Process Risk Management and Hazard Assessment, including training and presentation to senior personnel.

* Operating as the central co-coordinator of Permit Work, provision of formal authorisation relating to Permits-to-Work, including boundaries – ensuring examination for mutual compatibility to avoid conflict within SimOps operation;
* Following-up the revalidation process to ensure permits are revalidated at the end of each shift prior to next shift activity commencement, that is twice a day and without delay;
* Mediate closely with the subcontractor (CCIC)-Performing Authority to ensure all the appropriate hazards and controls measures have been identified for that task to be carried out;
* Monitoring open flame and hot work activities in the operational area in the plant-(Upstream)
* Coordinating daily audits on mechanical / electrical equipments to ensure Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures are followed and complied with;
* Overseeing the daily, random reviewing of PTW to verify compliance on site and implement the corrective action to the non –complied permit instantly;
* Interfacing and coordinating all Permit-to-Work systems between the client (Qatar Gas), the Principal Contractor CTJV and the subcontractors and facilitating the timely completion of ad-hoc administrative functions;
* Updating and maintaining method statements and job safety analysis;
* Ensure that all documentation related with the Permit is attached, like certificates, Punch list, marked up drawing or Piping and Instrument Drawing {P&ID}, Task Risk Assessment, Method statement or Site Instruction or work procedure, Job safety analysis, checklist, Data sheets {MSDS} as applicable to details and equipment/tools involves in the task.
* Participating in weekly management safety walkthrough on site and Attends daily SIMOPS and OPCO Permit-to-Work meetings.
* Successfully ensured all relevant documents and certificates were attached and completed with permit application according to
Project safety policy;

How can I find resumes that contain specific exact phrase?
To search for an exact phrase, just put quotation marks around two or more words, for example "mining engineer". Use this feature to narrow your results or to find words that can be typed differently, for example AutoCAD "Auto CAD".
