Main activities and responsibilities:
-Placing requisitions for purchase on the purchase department when the stock reaches the reordering level.
-Personally inputs all necessary information for MRs, electronically and enter into computer and keep proper record of outstanding MRs.
-Receive and quality checks all incoming materials and spare parts for rig and check with the proper document and bringing them on charge. Enter all receipts in bin cards. Putting suitable marking on materials for the purpose of easy identification and accessibility with proper tagging system.
-Responsible for placing the materials in their appropriate places inside the warehouse and for ensuring they are maintained in good condition during storage till required for utilization and utilizing storage spaces to the best advantage. Arranging suitable aisles and gangways for speedy handling of materials.
-Coordinate supply and delivery of materials and spare parts with Central Warehouse.
-Planning storage of materials, physical control as well as efficient book control through satisfactory storage control procedures. Carrying out regular review of the physical existence of stocks in hand.
-Manage spare parts in rig store, maintains adequate stock levels and keeps complete material inventory control and organization of budgetary control and cost control.
-Locating slow moving or non-moving items so that action may be taken for their disposal before they deteriorate of become obsolete and unfit even for alternative use. Taking steps to prevent weathering or deterioration of materials.
-Analyzing consumption of materials on periodic basis and reclassifying items under ABC.
-Conduct all materials management activities safely & in accordance with the Company's HSE policies.
-Assists Rig Manager with personnel administration and record keeping. Controls bed allocations and meal records with Camp Boss.
-Provides monthly payroll time sheets to Personnel Department. Coordinates and records personnel travel movements & Aviation movement. Assists Rig Manager by maintaining loads sheets during rig moves.
-Assist Rig Manager by taking responsibility for physical head count of all personnel during safety drills and emergency situations.
