I am a Diploma Electrical Engineer and having an experience of more than 16 years in the electrical field of Operations & Maintenance of plant equipments like HT/LT Motors, Transformers, EOT Cranes, AC & DC UPS & Batteries, HV & LV Switch Gears, Emergency DG set etc, and power generation & distribution system up to 11kV. I have an experience of operation of two nos. of 25MW, 11kV generators driven by steam turbines.
I am a designated as Senior Electrical Technician in a very large-scale continuous process Chemical, Petrochemical & Fertilizer industry having an annual turnover of INR 16000 millions.
I believe my combination of technical & communication skills and experience make me uniquely qualified for the position as described in the advertisement.

Details of activities performed during Operation, Testing, Erection, and Monitoring & Maintenance are as under.
* I was involved in basic Electrical philosophy, detailed engineering i.e. preparing drawings, operation and specifications for various types of Electrical equipments, various Logic's for Closing & Tripping Circuits & Auto & Manual changeover, erection, testing and commissioning of the all type of electrical equipments and Relay co-ordinations for the switch gears.
* Properly safe operation, monitoring, breakdown & preventive maintenance during shut down and running plants, including maintenance of hazardous area plants.
* Trouble shooting and fault identification in specialized equipment like Variable Speed Drive, Battery & it's charger, Fire Alarm system, Cathodic protection, DG set, Start up heater, induction generator, HT/LT Switch Gear, various type of Circuit Breakers, Transformers, Motors HT/LT, UPS, etc.
* I also looked after operation & preventive maintenance, Shift in charge sub - station activities isolation restoration of power as per work permit (LOTO system). 2 X 25 MW Captive Power Plants are always remain in synchronism with State Electricity Grid supply through MRS. MRS is provided with Frequency Based load shedding & df/dt protection for Islanding operation during any cascading tripping due to fault on GRID supply.
* Identification, analysis & rectification of abnormalities in electrical equipments during running plant, to prevent break down of electrical equipments, forced outage of plants and production loss.
* Modified existing electrical operation schemes of motor feeders, power feeders and incomer feeders, ensured flexibility, ease of operations and to improve reliability of Plant.
* Implementation of safety audit report, energy audit report, and ISO-14001 requirement as well adhered to all plant safety rules, regulations and policies.
* Maintained detailed history records about maintenance & documented all information.
* Planning of critical jobs during annual shut down / breakdowns.
* Sub-ordinates development through theoretical & practical training.
* Co-ordination of activities with various departments like Process, Mechanical, Instrument etc.
* Ensured that electrification in hazardous area in a petrochemical plant is as per relevant standard for lighting of plant includes design of illuminations, Lighting luminaries selections as per are classification, installation, maintenance of lighting fixture, varieties of lighting luminaries etc.
* Reviewed and implemented modifications in existing protection scheme after addition of a down stream plant. This prevented any inadvertent electrical tripping during normal operations as well as during electrical fault & thereby production loss.
* For process modifications scheme, prepared specification of various electrical equipments & electrical schemes, selected optimum size of power cable, control cable and their route and implemented modifications from electrical side.
* Daily, weekly and monthly report preparation. Data based updating, new drawing, modification and suggestion and its implication.
