„¯ Price negotiation with the contractors / suppliers and preparing final Tender Committee minutes for placement of contracts / orders with approval of competent authority.
„¯ Preparing agenda brief of the tender and submitting to Executive Purchase Committee Cell for presentation to the BOD for decision on high value contracts/procurements.
„¯ Drafting contract agreement, vetting it from Indenter, finance, legal and signing / issuing contracts / Pos, thereof.
„¯ Expediting LC, retiring documents and coordinating with ~ Quality Assurance Department, Transport and Shipping department for inspection, smooth clearance of the consignment ~ Local warehouse till delivery of the items including facilitating regularization of the transaction for completing the supply chain. Communicates with suppliers to achieve required service and meet project needs.
„¯ Settling disputes and claims of contractors, settling all the post contracts issue including signing of amendments/change orders to contract agreement, resolving discrepancies, resolving insurance claims, preparing claims and resolving counter claims till the closure of contract. Resolve arbitration / litigation cases.
„¯ Identifying and developing new sources under Indeg Scheme. Maintaining the database of the contractors / vendors and agreement, purchase orders.

* Successfully coordinated and finalized contracting services as Project Coordinator deputed by Project Manager including provisioning of material for urgently commencing of drilling operation on the block awarded by Govt. of India, whose license was on verge of expiry.

* Successfully contracted for urgent major repairing / overhauling of Siemens, GEC made gas turbine doors at Uran Power Plant and achieved in avoiding shut down.
