1. Organization: - Dodsal Engineering & Construction LLC, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman (11th January 2007 ¡VTill Date)

Designation: Sr. Engineer

Mukhaizna Field Development Project (Occidental Oman) Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. This is a USD 350 Million EPC project awarded to Dodsal by Occidental Mukhaizna LLC. Scope involves development of 1 No. Central processing Facilities (CPF) and 2 Nos. of Production Satellites, capable of generating 575,000 BWEPD of steam and treating 150,000 BPD of Crude Oil plus associated Water and Gas

Area of Competence/Experience Includes: -

Procurement Management

* Procurement of Static Equipments and Piping Specialty Items i.e. Pressure Vessels, 2/3 Phase Group Separators vessels, Chemical Injection Skids, Block & Bleed Valves, EOT Crane, Injection Quills, Oil/Barrel Transfer Pumps, Sample Bomb Assembly, Electrical Heaters, Static Mixers, Steam traps, Rupture Disc, Strainers (Conical, Basket and Y Strainers) Instrumentation cable, Ultrasonic gas Flow meter, Guided Wave Radar(GWR LT),FMCW LT and Hose/Hose couplings.

* Co ordination with Technical team for scrutinizing of the Technical BID.

* Commercial Negotiation with Supplier.

* Management approval for Order Placement and releasing Purchase Order after getting approvals. Necessary vendor approval from Client if not existing in AVL(Approved vendor List).

* Expediting vendor Document Submission and approvals i.e. Drawings, Calculations, QA/QC Procedures etc. Expediting visits to vendor shops for ensuring timely deliveries of packages as per Project Schedule.

* MIS about status of material and Budget utilization to Management on frequent interval.

* Acting as Logistic Controller for the entire EPC Project. Decides on the best mode of shipment depending upon the criticality and urgency of the equipment. After arrival of consignments at Port/Air Port, clearance.

* Finalizing Unit rates with different shipping lines/agents for the Containers i.e. Std., OT, FR etc and Break Bulk cargo movement from various parts of world i.e. India, Germany, UK, USA, Italy, Japan, Korea, Singapore and Belgium.

* Handling all sort of Local Transportation from UAE, Muscat to Project Site. Co-ordinate for clearance of goods at Border and arranging Custom Duty to be paid at free Zone exists for goods clearance.

* Co ordinate with Finance for timely payments for Packages Vendors, Shipping lines, TPI (Thru open credit and Letter of credit).

* Act as Single Focal point for all Inspections visits to be arranged for all Packages i.e. API

2.Organization: - Technip KT India Ltd., New Delhi (1st January 2004 ¡V5th January 2007)

Area of Competence/Experience Includes: -

Procurement/Material Management

* Floating of Inquires to various vendors for procurement of project material required for fabrication of pressure vessels, columns, heat exchanger, reactors, convection coil and skids as plates, structural steel, pipes, pipe fittings, flanges, fasteners, gaskets, paints etc.

* Preparation of PBS (Price bid summary) for bids received from different vendors.

* Techno-Commercial evaluation of bids received from vendor. Co-ordination with other departments for the same.

* Carry out assesment of new supplier/vendor and registration of the same with respect to material in purview.

* To assure timely supply of material to the user (shop/site).
* Co-ordinate with various departments and suppliers for smooth and effective supply of material in order to minimize delays in projects.

* Co-ordination with Accounts department for timely payment to vendors

Project Management:

* Preparation of BOM/MTO as per Isometric Drawings and P & ID's.

* Preparation of Detailed Bill of Material for Pressure parts & structure steel for Proposal /Fabrication of Skid (H2,N2 & LPG Treater), Pressure Vessel, Reactors, Columns, Convection coils, Radiant Coils etc.

* Follow up with the client/consultants for various project documents approval (i.e. drawings, design calculations, procedures etc.)

* Proposal Engineering & Management.

* Scheduling and progress reporting in the form of Bar charts.

* Progress reporting to Project manager, Management and client.

* Interfacing among clients, contractors and consultants-designers to understand the specific requirements and execute project accordingly.

* Invoicing, Track of payments, Sub-contracting, vendor analysis, checking of payments given to vendor.

* Inspection Co-ordination with various TPIA (i.e. CEIL, DNV, BV, Baxcounsel etc.).
