Role & Responsibilities: Main duties in detail:
ľ Support to operations team during Start-up and shut down activities such as turbines, compressors and major plant equipments.
ľ Handling skilled and unskilled man power, co-ordination with contractor, follow up with vendors and material departments, giving suitable suggestion and implementing plant modification, preparation of weekly and monthly Reports.
ľ Also in charge for recruitment to supervisor, technicians, foremen (Instrument, Analyzers, Fire and Gas Department)
ľ Also in charge for training program for instrument department.
ľ Handling man power allocation based on the nature of jobs.
ľ Allocation of man power based on the requirement of RasGas.
ľ Handling leave scheduling for the supervisor, foremen and technicians.
ľ Handling updating of daily jobs and follows up the pending jobs.
ľ Handling spares arrangement for the defective instruments.
ľ Develop, review and coordination of MOC (Management of Change) related to plant instrumentation and control changes.
ľ Develop and review control system procedure such as start-up, on-line troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
ľ Perform routine control system maintenance activities such as back up, SOE retrieval, TRIPLOG collection & system health monitoring.
ľ Implement safe operation practices to minimize down time and upkeep latest technologies for better availability, reliability and safety based on the age of Instrument and Control systems.
ľ Interacts with various departments throughout the troubleshooting process.
ľ Monitoring and analyze preventive and corrective maintenance KPI's in order to guaranty instrument and control system equipment reliability.
ľ Manages and review the procurement of spare parts for equipment overhaul.
ľ Project support services for design engineering, specification, procurement of instrument.
ľ Providing technical support for safe operation of plant and functionality of ESD & HIPS.
ľ Vast experience in case study and implementation of modification to avoid failure repetition.
ľ Generation of calibration report and history cards, implementation & up keeping of E&I system document as per ISO standards.
ľ Provide job methods, calibration procedures and online instrument & control maintenance check methods.
ľ Adapt Process Operation Best Practices (POBP & RGEE) in instrumentation & control for trouble free and reliable operation.
ľ Identified & resolved problems on high maintenance cost consuming low performance equipments.
ľ Reviewed work order backlog regularly and closeout of maintenance CI/CO work orders.
ľ Preparation of work pack, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Job card and shutdown close out/Job completion certificate.

Construction and Commissioning Experience
1. Involved in MADRAS FERTILIZERS LIMITED Revamp and Modernization Project of Ammonia, Urea and NPK Plant.
2. Supervision of MS Cable duct erection, GI tray & various types of cable laying including Instrument and Impulse line erection, nitrogen and hydro pressure test.
a. Witnessed all Instruments Loop check and punch list preparation during KNPC Water Treatment Plant Modernization Project.
b. Erection, Loop checking and commissioning of NPK Plant. Field instruments like pressure, level, flow, temperature transmitters and conductivity, PH analyzer.
3. Compilation of deficiency lists highlighting material shortage during construction & hookup phase.
4. Checked the preservation of module equipments before installation & prior to load out.
5. Check sheet review and ensure conformity with purchase order and applicable codes.
6. Preparation of instrument P&ID, hookup and layout drawings.
7. Witnessed calibration and QC check of field instrumentation & control system installation of Onshore, Offshore top-side facilities and living quarters.
8. Identify commissioning spares and prepare ship loose material report.
