WORK EXPERIENCE:
* Working knowledge of underground utilities. (Power, telephone, cable, streetlights, water, sewer, storm drains, gas)
* Conduct all phases of construction procedures, organizing and coordinating projects for maximum efficiency.
* Demonstrate ability to creatively troubleshoot, solve problems and make informed decisions while successfully guiding others.
* Project Manage, Supervise, motivate and evaluate performance up to 42 employees.
* Well versed in blue print reading for installation of utilities.
* Supervising and installation of residential, commercial and feeder jobs.
* Working at multiple locations and dealing with various foreman/lead men.
* Train, supervise and evaluate performance of employees.
* Monitoring site progress for timely completion of the project.
* Modify time lines and work schedules according to progress and project changes.
* Schedule materials, deliveries and follow up on material orders and job needs.
* Responsible for scheduling of heavy equipment and delivering of construction supplies needed for work sites.
* Monitoring manpower, material and supervision of day- to-day site activities.
* Keeping construction project in compliance with schedules.
* Inspect work in progress to ensure that work conforms to contract specifications and adheres to established schedules.
* Responsible for scheduling all inspections.
* Liaison with Nevada Power, Embarq, City, County Inspectors and Vendors through correspondence and meetings for smooth execution of the project.
* Working closely with owners/developers.
* Final walk through with municipal service inspectors of completed job.
* Always observant of safety policies and procedures.
* Work equipment safely and effectively.
* Operation of heavy and light equipment.
* Able to read and comprehend all warning signs and labels on a construction site.
