Seeking a rotational or permanent position with an Exploration and Production Company.
I have 21 years experience as Well site and Operations Geologist working onshore, offshore and deep offshore rigs in West Africa. I am a quick to learn and adaptable professional with strong inter-personal and communication skills necessary for team work in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Among other tasks I principally follow up Operations Geology activity for operated and non operated assets, supporting Drilling, Completion and Work-Over operations as required. I have very good report writing skills and am capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

* Support Drilling, Completions and Work-Over operations
* Contribute to the preparation of the Geological Well Prognosis.

* Verify that geological objectives and operational plans are realized.
* Provide well deviation plots during drilling operations to assure that drillers are within tolerances.
* Prepare and distribute daily Executive Geological Reports of wellsite activities.
* Monitor sample shipments and logistics; track rock and fluid samples and expedite their dispatch to laboratories.
* Compile the Geological Well Report, Composite Log and well documentation.

ACTIVITIES AS WELLSITE GEOLOGIST:

* Responsible for the proper execution of the geological program as detailed in the well program and in compliance with safety requirements.
* Supervise all acquisitions: Mud Logging, Logging While Drilling (LWD), and Wireline logging, and Coring.
* Interpret geological data while drilling and contribute to the safety of operations through active participation in the identification and evaluation of geological and hole conditions that could adversely affect drilling.
* Guarantee quality and reliability of drilling data and geological measurements acquired while drilling.
* Guarantee and validate data flow from rig to base, upload wellsite data to the web server.
* Supervise conventional and TCP perforations.
* Prepare the Wellsite lithology log and Composite logs.
* Compile the well file and initiate the Geological Well Report.
