PEOPLESOFT TECHNICAL CONSULTANT

Project description
The client is namely DANA Corporation (an Automobile major in US) and our project involves People soft HRMS production support and development for its facilities across the globe. Work comes in the form of CORs and Tickets. CORS (Change Order requests) involves development of altogether new SQRs from scratch, customization of delivered SQR and modification of existing Application Engine Programs as per client needs. CORs are permanent changes that need to be done in the People soft system Tickets are related to techno-functional aspects and analysis needs to be done both on backend and also functionally.

Tool: People soft HRMS 8.3/8.9, Oracle 9i.

Following are the details of my responsibilities.

* Analyzing the SQRs and modification of the peoplesoft delivered SQRs as well as the DANA customized ones.

* Creation of One time feed reports for the Client in the form of PDF and excelsheet.

* SQL Query formations to help the Client to obtain values that are not Peoplesoft delivered.

* Analyzing the errors prompts reported and checks the corresponding People code against them in the Application designer, and try to resolve them functionally as well as do modification in these People code if necessary.

* Creation of altogether new Customized reports to satisfy client needs as well as modification of the existing delivered People soft SQRS.

* Extensive interaction with the client and the end Users to create reports at different levels namely for users in a particular facility and also for higher end users in the headquarters of the company. The project involved creation of a weekly report, monthly report and a monthly-summarized report reporting the pension able hours of each employee for Steelworkers Pension Trust.

* Analysis and modification of Application Engine by modifications in the steps as well in actions.

Involved in quality Works

* Minutes of Meeting - Actively participate in the scheduled meetings and have been involved in jotting the Minutes of Meeting required for Audit purpose.

* Maintenance of Review documents for auditing purpose.

* The Vbbulletin is a Web application product. I am entrusted with the job of building a Image gallery module that Fetches the data from MyonlineImages.com (Parent Site) via Webservice.The image when uploaded gets stored at the Parent Site. The Image information along with the metadata retrieved during uploading of the image is updated at the Parent Site Via the Webservices.But It appears to the users as if the image is at the Client Site.
