DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
ƒá Inspecting and ensuring that all works are in line with Project Specific HSE Plan.
ƒá Inspecting and monitoring all lifting activities before and during the lifting process and checking the plant also.
ƒá Making HSE report on a daily basis about the observations and unsafe conditions and recommending remedial actions.
ƒá Ensuring that Work Permits (for hot jobs & cold jobs) are there in place (if needed) before the start of work and giving training before commencing the job.
ƒá Liaising with respective Section Heads and other Supervisory Staff to implement HSE Plans.
ƒá Preparing the Risk Assessments and coordinating with section head and HSE Manager prior to start of respective work.
ƒá Reporting all accidents, incidents and near miss to the HSE Manager and investigating the cases as per his advice.
ƒá Ensuring that all personnel on Site are fully compliant with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) rules as envisaged in HSE Plan, prior to the start of work on a daily basis.
ƒá Reporting the non-compliance to HSE Manager and helping to rectify the situation
ƒá Conducting Induction programmes for the new employees, giving TBT to the workers, Issuing Site Safety Inspection Registers for the dangerous activities, auditing of the scaffolds, fire extinguishers, welfare facilities and emergency procedures also.
ƒá Maintaining cordial relation between the work force at Site and Management.
ƒá Inspection of all MEP works of the project & District Cooling Plant (DCP) also
ƒá Supervision of safe erection of Pre-cast panels (cladding jobs),concourse activites,aluminium installations especially for roofing structures
ƒá Supervision of fire marshals, checking their daily reports and inspecting fire extinguishers, attending fire drills also
ƒá Attending Safety Meetings with the site management and sub-contractors
ƒá Monitoring the environmental activities such as dust control, noise level etc.
ƒá Monitoring/Checking the safety requirements of Radiography test, Confined space entry & Water proofing, plastering jobs,etc
ƒá Coordinating with sub contractors for the handing over procedures and ensuring it during site inspection
ƒá Assisting with Third party consultants, municipality inspectors (as per the advice from HSE Manager), Auditors (external auditing) and involving in the improvements of active monitoring and motivational procedures also
