Business Developer & Engineering Supervisor a) As Business Developer he is responsible mainly for the new Natural Gas Distribution tenders and projects. More recently his is involved in projects regarding Renewable energies.
During the Preliminary and Feasibility Study his duties are to:
together with his junior colleagues to visit the geographic area of which the License is covering collect information relevant to the project (population, potential customer number, income level, energy consumption habits of the residents, existing and future commercial and industrial premises and their energy consumer potential etc.)
collect technical data (availability of the Transmission line, possible environmental and construction risks of a pipeline route)
cost calculation of the network, considering the full license period together with the Operation and Marketing Managers to forecast the company's operational costs and revenues, breaking down all related costs and revenues preparing the Investor's Financial Model to be presented to the Company's Directory Board as well as to Financial Investors or Banks advice the Company Directory Board on the "Distribution and Transmission Fee" for New Distribution License Tenders and for "Take Over Value" for existing, active Distribution Companies up to this date he has prepared Financial Models for 13 new License Tenders and 3 Company takeovers currently Palmet owns 2 distribution licenses by its own, and is shareholder in other two licensed companies for existing licenses his responsibility is to update the initial Financial Models and submit it to the Board of Directories and Creditors advice the Construction, Engineering, Operation departments at the Budget preparation stage to match the financial indicators established in the Model b) As Engineering Supervisor he is responsible for the overall project of the Erzurum and Gebze Natural Gas Networks. This involves the construction and operation of pipeline systems with combined CAPEX of 150 mill.$. Also as representative of one of the main partner in two other projects (combined CAPEX 300 mil$), he is taking limited supervision role in them.
This concludes in the following:
Pipeline System_ (ANSI Class 150, _300), Station (19bar(25)/4bar; 4bar/1bar(300mbar) _, Customer Connection Design
Issuing the Tender specifications for contractors
Site visit and technical advise to contractors
Liaison with related Central and Local Governing bodies (Energy Market Regulatory Authority, Municipalities etc.)
Review/ comment on if necessary contractor's QA_QC procedures, Safety Procedures and the Quality Assurance Plan
Review/ comment on if necessary contractor's welding and testing procedures
Review/ comment on if necessary on submitted Construction and As built designs
Build up and update the Work Schedule charts
Elaborate and update the Project Budget
Review and follow up the Commissioning Procedures
Review and follow up the Operation Procedures
