Undertook an extensive literature review on the environmental, social and economic conditions and issues present in the countries of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda with a view to identifying barriers to integrated assessment (individually and combined).
Compiled a database on the natural resource, trade and demographic characteristics of each country and produced summary information, statistics and interpretation, as required.
Produced a background report on above for the proposed McGill-Canadian International Development Agency Partnership Project focusing on capacity building and identifying best practices to conduct Integrated Assessment in the context of sustainable rural development.
