WORK HISTORY
2003- 2009 Khalda Petroleum Company (KPC) - Western desert-Apache-Egypt.
Responsibilities include:
1.Interpreting various types of open-hole logs.
2.RFT selectable& interpretable for better completion.
3.Determining hydrocarbon in-place by Material Balance, Volumetric & DC analysis.
4.Evaluate the shut in and abandoned wells and making recommendations for re-entry.
5.Monitoring the performance of the old wells thru surveillance surveys; static pressure, PLT, DFL and oil, water & gas rates to achieve effective reservoir management.
6.Recommending optimum production strategies and development plans (infill wells, re-completions, work-over, stimulation, shut-off watered out zones).
7.Describing main reservoir characteristics.
8.Establish the re-completion plan and select the best candidate for hydraulic fracturing.

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
1.KHLD field: it has only two producers' layers UBAH & LBAH. The LBAH K= 100 md, dead oil with 36 API¢X, 16 SCF/STB GOR, 155 psi saturation pressure. Water flood (peripheral and infill injection) was applied and RF increased from 5 to 30%. Currently, UBAH successfully started production via hydraulic fracturing and water flood (five spot) was applied consequently the field production was increased fourth times than its production and also, RF increased from 10 to 20%.
2.KNZ- field: it has deep and shallower horizons. The deep reservoirs have a volatile oil (49 API¢X, 3700 Bubble point pressure, 5000 SCF/STB GOR). In addition, it has a strong water drive mechanism and it is very sensitive to water coning if the perforation closed to the oil water contact. On other hand, the shallower horizons; UBAH & LBAH have volatile oil (44 API¢X, 1500 Bubble point pressure, 1000 SCF/STB GOR). They are under water flooding. Also, top of LBAH reservoir is interpreted as a complicated sand channel extended thru different fields. Recently, ARG reservoir was successfully test as the first one in the field and added anew reserve about 10 MMSTB.
3.RNPT field: it has only two multilayered reservoirs: UBAH and LBAH. The LBAH is the main producing reservoir in the field. It has K=200 md. In addition, it has dead oil with 37 API¢X, 11 SCF/STB GOR, 285-psi saturation pressure. Water flood (peripheral injection) was applied and RF increased from 5 to 30%.
4.N-ALAM & TANZ fields: they have deep and shallower horizons. The deep zones called AEB reservoirs. It has a strong water drive mechanism in AEB, carbonate (fracture limestone) and Kharita reservoirs. But the shallower horizons have depletion drive mechanism.
5.Justifying re-entering 5 temporarily abandonment wells and produced 2 MM STB.
6.Justifying to drilling oil producer and water injection wells as follows:
„«KHLD field: justified drilling and completing 30 wells (20 oil producers and 10 water injection well) in addition to re-completing 14 oil producers to improve the sweep efficiency. Those wells produced more than 3 MMSTB & still produce.
+KNZ field: justified drilling and completing 8 wells oil & gas producers. In addition to converting 3 oil producers into water injection wells to provide the pressure support and to improve the sweep efficiency. These wells produced 2 MMSTBO.
+N-ALAM field: Justified drilling and completion one oil producers well. This well produced 0.6 MMSTBO.
+TANZ field: Justified drilling and completing 3 oil producers to produce from the deep horizons. These wells produced 5 MMSTBO and still producing with 2100 BOPD.
+RNPT Field: justified drilling and completing 7 wells (4 oil producers and 3 water injection wells). These wells contributed production with 1.6 MMSTBO.
