Highlights of Experience

17 Years extensive experience in all aspects of Civil works in High Rise Towers, 5 Star Hotel, Waste water Treatment Plant & Infrastructure Works in Oil Field with emphasis on Quality Assurance & Quality Control in Construction Industry. Conversant with requirements of ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System and related Internal and External Audits. Conduct regular training and Quality Awareness Program for Continual Improvement.

Assignments / Responsibilities

* Develop and update the Project Quality Manual and procedures for Design, tender and construction stage.
* Review Contractors, Subcontractors and Suppliers' Quality Assurance and Quality Control Procedures.
* Coordinating with the Consultant and Contractor for the good operation and workability of the Quality Management Scheme and HSE works.
* Ensure that all duties and responsibilities are fulfilled in a controlled manner from all intervening parties.
* Conduct and/or Participate in Client Quality or technical compliance audits for Contractors, Sub Contractors or Vendors.
* Review the contract documents for each Construction Package in respect of QA/QC requirements and procedures and advise the Contracts Manager of any deficiency.
* Review QA/QC site organization, key personnel CVs as submitted by the Sub- Contractors and advise the Project Director accordingly.
* Review QA/QC Procedures and document control as submitted by the Sub-Contractors and ensure implementation is in compliance with Contracts requirements.
* Review inspection & Test Plans as submitted by the Sub-Contractors and ensure compliance with contracts requirements.
* Ensure traceability of all materials and equipment from purchasing and up to delivery on site.
* Familiar to well known for Methodology called as 'SMART' (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant/ Realistic, Time bound) of Quality Management System Requirements in all phase of work -Tendering Phase, Award Stage & EPC Phase, Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning Phase etc. in compliance with ISO9001 Quality Management System.
* To Organize, Implement, Conduct and Manage the IMS as per Company policy, contract specifications and ISO Standards.
* Motivating and train to all personnel involved in the effective Implementation of the IMS System
* Reviewing Project Specifications and Drawings to determine Quality requirements.
* Setting-up the Quality Management System and Monitoring its implementation during all phases of the Project Execution.
* Day to day Field based Supervision to Ensure Smooth Establishment of QC Personnel and Processes.
* Reviewing and Activating the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Method Statement (MS), QA/QC Procedures, Inspection &Test Plans (ITP) and Checklist etc.
* Resolving Site QC Issues with regards to Standards, Processes and Systems.
* To follow up with Sub-Contractors & Suppliers in order to proper Implementation of contract terms and conditions.
* Providing technical Assistance to Project team in the application of Quality Program.
* Audit & Monitor the company and Sub-Contractors Performance in compliance with the Quality requirements.
* Issue of Non-conformance reports when the specification requirements are not met.
* Ensuring the QC Program is Communicated & Executed efficiently and effectively.
* Monitor the Status and disposition of any Non-conformity & Site Observation Notes.
* Reviewing Material Submittals prior to Submission to the Client & Consultant.
* Reviewing Results of Tests & Inspections, advising the Status of Acceptance & Coordinating with the 3rd Party Lab regarding Tests and Results.
* Conducting off-site inspections of Materials and Fabrications in accordance with the Specified requirements of contract.
* Monitoring quality control for each definable feature of work as per the Project Quality Plan (PQP).
* Ensuring all construction activities are being carried-out as per approved shop drawings, Method Statements, Contract Specifications and to the related code of practices.
* Routine liaison with QC Inspectors & QC Engineers, Identifying problem providing solution & Coordinating with Consultant & Client QA/QA Manager / Representative.
* Participating in Weekly meetings with staff, Client & Consultant's team.
* Documenting all inspections and tests as required by the Project Quality Plan(PQP).
* Review of final Quality Dossier documents/ final Turnover Documentation.
