Worked with TIC, (The Industrial Company) and Delta-T employees to bring a new Ethanol Plant to a Start Up condition for the BioFuel Energy Corporation. My primary duties included walking down hundreds of yards of separation, stillage, syrup, and liquefaction piping and instrumentation to verify correct installation according to P & ID's. I also had to communicate with install sub contractors field modifications that were necessary or any damaged equipment that had to be replaced. Responsibilities included inspecting various tanks and vessels for proper instrumentation, pipe routing, mechanical equipment and witnessing hydrostatic testing of pipe lines as well as maintaining document logs on my inspections.

Assigned to Facilities Engineering, my primary job scope included 200mm and 300mm Tool Hook-up and Fit-up. Working with Engineers and Vendors, I was responsible for creating drawings to locate new Tools, show all utilities and flow rates required for the Tools, and put together a coherent drawing package to be used by installation contractors. My Design duties were flexible as need and also included relocating existing Tools, laying out structural frames /pedestals to support Tools, and showing wall move drawings. Most of these drawing packages required field work to the Clean Room or Sub Fab environment and were created using Autocad.

My responsibilities included the locating and sizing of HVAC Ducts to be used in building renovation projects for DuPont Fibers. Field verifying dimensions from existing drawings as well as creating new HVAC drawings as part of my job scope. This task was performed using Microstation (Intergraph). I was also assigned to a Philip Morris Steam Casing Project. This was primarily a piping and mechanical detail job to create shop fabrication drawings. My last project with D & Z was for Allied Chemical, to upgrade the HVAC system in the Spinning area of the Chesterfield Plant. This entailed running hundred's of linear feet of duct, locating fire and volume dampers and also installing Airwashers.
