PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY: 18+ Years
Experience in Pipeline Design/Engineering for Detailed Engineering and FEED projects for onshore and off- shore Oil & Gas industry brown field/upgrade, green field/grassroots development and revamp projects. These experience is gathered in Australia, West Africa (Nigeria), Persian Gulf and India.
Prominent role taken as lead pipeline engineer, Design experience of the Metallic (C.S.) and non-metallic pipelines (GRE, HDPE, Lined and coated pipes) as per client requirements. Familiar with client standards as such SHELL, ExxonMobil, Petroleum Development of Oman (PDO), ADCO, GASCO, DOLPHIN, Qatar Petroleum (QP) standards etc..
Conversant with oil and gas design codes, engineering standards, national regulations and recommended practices applicable to the design and construction of onshore and offshore pipelines.
Preparations of design basis, survey scope of work, all the technical specifications, perform various design calculations, creating the material requisitions (MRs) for various pipeline specialty packages, producing the data sheets, evaluating the technical bids (TBE), assisting the drafting team to conclude the alignment sheets, finalizing the material quantities (BOM), checking the drawings, making reports, route study, finalizing the station approaches, procurement assistance, Vendor and Client coordination for onshore and off-shore projects.
Manage all the pipeline activities and deliverables for a specific project and ensure timely completion to the required quality standards. Lead the pipeline team assigned to the project. Extensive exposure in all design engineering activities for pipelines, which includes but not limited to pipeline route selection to optimize costs of new pipelines and its associated facilities, pipeline sizing and design to meet performance criteria, provide pipeline construction support and gained rich experience in proposals, biddings, estimations and EPC bid evaluations.
Preparation of CTR's, deliverable lists, schedules, forecast, progress reports and experienced engineering coordinator (Project base). Expertise in Project engineering, preparation of engineering packs, field engineering on grassroots and revamp projects.
As an element of essential skills, have capabilities of working with various project teams, proven ability to work with a minimal supervision, ability and willingness to meet agreed deadlines and well developed report writing skills, possess excellent. Current Position & Responsibility Principal Pipeline Engineer
Responsible to lead the Pipeline design teams on projects. Working as part of an Engineering Task Force and will be totally responsible for the design quality, correct application of design codes and procedures. Responsible to plan the discipline works scope, with CTR definition and schedule. Responsible for the complete pipeline engineering and design activities such as preparation of all the relevant specifications, calculations, RFQ packages, data sheets, TBE, pipeline appropriate drawings, SMS closeouts, HAZOP closeouts etc.. Addition to that worked on the finalization of hydrostatic test programs, hydrostatic test calculations, Isolation plan and spill volume calculation etc..
