Teaching Experience: I am working as a senior lecturer in Geology for the past 21 years at graduate and undergraduate level teaching the subjects are Sedimentary Petrology, Igneous Petrology, Metamorphic Petrology, Indian Stratigraphy,Engineering Geology, Structural Geology, Geo-tectonics, Economic Geology, Mineralogy, Physical Geology, Crystallography, Optics and Palaeontology (practicals for all the above subjects are conducted). My graduated students are working as geologists in International companies such as Halliburton, GeoServices, Slumburger, Armaco and many more in different parts of the globe.
I had attended a vigorous Indian Military training at Indian Naval officer Training Base, Kochi for 12 weeks, in that I learned the management skills and leadership qualities like enthusiasm, initiative, self confidence, courage, wisdom, communication-verbally and written, power of command, determination, courage, team work, sportsmanship, humanity, humor, judgment, equality, faith, discrimination, dedication, hard working and will power, etc. I teach leadership, ecology, first aid, hygiene and sanitation topics for around 800 NCC Cadets every year.

Worked in minor research project as a co-investigator with Dr.Mohd Rafi
Sayyed, on Geological investigations of the bole bed in Deccan traps around
Pune, Maharashtra. India. University Grant Commission (Western Region)
funded the project and it was completed in 2005.

4. Consultancy:

i) A consultancy services is provided officially through Poona College Geology Department to the Collector of Daman and Diu, in a disputed land on his request in the year 2006.

ii) A hydrogeological survey was officially done by Poona College Geology Department to the Jaldhara Enterprises, Pune in and around Pune district in the year 2002 and 2003.

iii) Worked as a part-time assistant for Dr.Thorat, a Ground water consultant in and around Solapur district in Ground water testing by resistivity method during the year 1984-1986.

* Attended one day workshop on" Seismicity of Western India with reference to recent Kutch Earthquake" organized by Indian society of remote sensing (Pune chapter) and Indian society of Geomatics (Pune chapter) on 14th July 2001.

* Participated in one day Training programmed on Geographical Information
System (GIS) for teachers of geology of under graduate colleges at MITCON
e-school, Pune on 4th Dec 2004.

* Attended Interview programmed for the selection of Geology lecturer post in Wadia College on 27th Oct 2007 as a Subject Expert.

* Every year Geology Excursion tour for first/second year B.Sc Geology students was conducted in and around Pune district.

* Organized 12 days Geology Excursion Tours in and around Karnataka (Hassan, Mysore, Bangalore, Gokak and Arsikere), Andhra Pradesh (Cuddapah, Visakhapatnam and Kurool), Tamilnadu (Madras, Salem and Mahabalipuram),Maharashtra (Nagpur, Ramtek, Kamthi, Amravati, Mahabaleshwar and Panchghani), Bihar (Tatanagar, Dhanbad, Asansol and Mayurbhanj) for last 20 years.

* Organized "Geo-week" programmed (Geo quiz, Guest lectures and Seminars) in the college since 2005.
