JOB PROFILE (OPERATION)
RELIANCE PETROLEUM LIMITED
I am working as a "EXECUTIVE" since May-2007.
Looking after all the section like Feed compression, Reactor section Reformer section, PSA section and Hydrogen compression section
Follow up maintenance jobs by proper isolating Pumps, Equipment and Reactor etc.
Follow up Hot work by co-ordination with the Fire & Safety personal.
Note down various parameter like Temp., Pressure, Level, Flow etc and maintain Log sheet.
Routine checking of lubrication system for Compressor, Pump and also to make up oil for the same
Start up and Shut down of the plant.
Taking regular training of safety and fire fighting
Attending of production/technical meeting
I have also a operation experience of following equipment
Pumps: Centrifugal, reciprocating
Compressors: Centrifugal (3.5 MW), Reciprocating (5.3 MW).
Heat exchangers: Shell & tubes, Plate and frame,

HYDROGEN MANUFRACTURING UNIT
Technology by LINDE
Hydrogen complex has Three Hydrogen manufacturing unit each Hydrogen unit is design to produce 181 MT/Day Hydrogen and operating with 40-110% load.
Hydrogen unit is operated with various feed like RFG, LPG, Naphtha and NG.
Hydrogen unit has Two stage centrifugal Compressor with 3.5 MW motor.
Hydrogen unit has Hydrogenation Reactor and Desulfurization Reactors (2 Nos.) for olefins saturation and sulfur removal.
Hydrogen unit has Hydrocarbon Steam Reformer with 288 nos. of tubes and 84 nos. of Burner.
Hydrocarbon Steam Reformer has capacity of 150MMKcal/hr.
Hydrogen unit has PSA section to purify hydrogen up to 99.9%.
Hydrogen unit produce 53 ton HP steam for export to CPP.
HYDROGEN COMPRESSION UNIT
Compression unit has Two Stage Double Acting Four Cylinder Reciprocating Compressor
Compression unit has 3 Nos. of compressors.
CAPACITY:-
IST Stage: - 1, 19,000 Nm3/hr (10,715 Kg/hr)
II ND Stage: - 68,800 Nm3/hr (6,190 Kg/hr)
DISCHARGE PRESSURE:-
IST Stage: - 37.2 Kg/cm2
II ND Stage: - 71.1 kg/cm2
Motor Power: - 5.35 MW.
Comp. make:- M/s. Thomason International –Netherlands.

TECHNOLOGY USED BY UOP-MEROX PROCESS
The process contain following sections.
A) H2S Adsorption in amine solution
B) Mercaptants Extraction & Merox caustic Regeneration.
C) Oxidation using MEROX WS CATALYST.
In the FEED H2S is 10994 wt. ppm & Mercaptans sulfur is 827wt.ppm
The plant is highly protected with FIRE & TOXIC GAS leakage using by F & G AND Deluge system design by WORMALD
DCS system is invensys Foxboro.
The DCS system is microprocessor based design that will be fully tested & reliable
The DCS system is Distributed to remote plant interface buildings (PIBs) with operator –console located in plant control center (PCCs)
For Unsat LPG & Sat LPG Merox ESDs are listed in cause & Effect Diagram. & Trips also indicated
COMMISSIONING AND START UP ACTIVITY CONTAIN
TRAINING PROGRAMME
*Refer P & ID of plant
*Attend hot & cold work in plant
*Flushing & Cardboard blasting of pipelines.
*Nitrogen purging of all plant loops.
*Leak check of plant at (low medium and high load)
*Furnace commissioning
*Stroke checking of all plant control valves and pumps
*Checking of FIRE and GAS Detection System and also fire water deluge system
*Plant start up activity like hydrocarbon inventory, oil flushing, cold circulation
Long loop circulation etc.
*Interlock loop checking
*Undergone various training modules designed by Reliance Jamnagar covering all the process details / Operational Training.
*Undergone FIRE, SAFETY and FIRST AID training imparted by Health Safety and Fire Dept.
*I had also taken training of ISO 9001-2000, ISO 14000 and OHSAS 18001
*I had taken special training on "trouble shooting on LPG Merox units" conducted by UOP Experts.

I have got rich experience of plant operation like Pumps, Valves, Reactors, Distillation column, Stripper Column, Crystallizer. Petroleum Storage Tank, Compressor.
MY CURRENT EXPERIENCE OF CURRENT REFINERY JOB
At present I am working in world largest grass root refinery which is located in JAMNAGAR, INDIA
During this job I am getting too much of experience of commissioning pre commissioning, and running industry
During this job I was in charge of field executive up to six month after getting training in old refinery
Then after I am transfer to new refinery commissioning group and there I have learn too much activities of commissioning, pre commissioning,
