Summary:
Instrument Engineer with over 23 years experience in project engineering, construction, commissioning and plant maintenance. Overseas experience includes over 10 years in Saudi Arabia, Trinidad, Africa and Peru. I have done design, construction, commissioning, start-up and plant maintenance. Currently on the client team as the Lead Instrument Engineer working on my fifth LNG train in Peru.

Senior Instrument Engineer Responsible for review and approval of EPC engineering Instrument specifications, procedures and drawings. Lead client Instrument Engineer for the ICSS FAT and approval of EPC installations and commissioning activities. Development of plant Instrument procedures including SIL test procedures, PST and procedures required to ensure the plant instrument systems meets plant reliability goals. Responsible engineer for Emerson DeltaV DCS, Emerson Logic Solver SIS, SCADA, Vendor skid PLC's and all field instruments including FF and Hart protocols..
Duties include development of hands-on training of Peruvian nationals' instrument engineers and instrument technicians.

DCS/SIS Construction/Startup engineer for the Equatorial New Guinea LNG train 1. Responsible for the DCS and SIS systems for the project. Hands-on configuration, design and trouble-shooting for the Emerson DeltaV DCS and the ICS triplex Safety system. Excellent experience in configuration, calibration and troubleshooting of fieldbus devices for the DCS and all types of field instruments including fieldbus positioners and transmitters. After completion of construction, worked as the start-up and commissioning DCS/SIS engineer for successful start-up months ahead of schedule. Implementing a major modification to Safety Instrumented System (SIS). The modification will be done during a 24-hr plant shutdown.
