* Reservoir engineer with responsibility for the Piceance Basin assets, which includes 80+ producing gas wells and 1000 to be drilled by 2017.

* Responsible for the drilling schedule, combining lease obligations, environmental constraints, weather and seasonal constraints, and improving reserves as quickly as possible. Extensive involvement with environmental and regulatory agencies as the Piceance Basin is a focal point for environmental issue sin Colorado. Maintain excellent relations with the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission and Federal Bureau of Land Management offices in Denver and Glenwood Springs.

* Experienced in ARIES forecasting for quarterly review and annual budgets. Responsible for crafting, maintaining and monitoring compliance with $142 million annual capital budget.

* Production data analysis to isolate problem wells (liquid loading, compression problems, interference, etc).

* Working with and training junior engineers and technical staff.

Senior Product Manager – Joint Venture Products - Oildex Inc. 2008

* Managed joint venture product line, including JIB Relations (joint interest billing software), CDEX (check stub information sharing) and ORC (owner relations sites).

* Led a successful effort to find the replacement for an archaic system of data transmission, leading to significant savings in development time, training and support.

* Formulated a road map for near-term product development.

Director of Professional Services - Oildex Inc. 2007

* Responsible for all non-recurring revenue projects and implementations for both product lines of Oildex, Joint Venture and Spendworks.

* Successfully retained a multi-million dollar account by resolving personality conflicts and reorganizing the client's implementation project.

* Implemented the daptiv project management system, leading to more timely and cost-effective control of implementation and customization projects.

Chief Information Officer - Venoco, Inc. 2006 – 2007

* Responsible for charting policy and deploying software for Venoco, a 250 person exploration and production company with operations in California and Texas, and corporate offices in Denver.

* Implementations included Merrick Systems, Wellcore, Wellbase and the Oildex Spendworks SaaS platform.

* Instrumental in design and implementation of SCADA upgrades throughout the Sac Basin and the $430 million acquisition of TexCal.

Petroleum Engineer - Venoco, Inc. 2004 – 2006

* Sole engineer with responsibility for the Sacramento Basin assets, which included 300+ gas wells.

* Increased production five-fold through workovers and recompletions, and assisted in preparing prognoses for the accelerated infill drilling program. Worked extensively with field supervisor to mitigate liquid-loading problems, many wells responded with a doubling of production when switched from soap sticks to more effective unloading methods.

* Developed an extensive database to house and retrieve all well-related materials including log snippets, reserves information, perfed intervals and workover information, mud log data and gas shows, links to California DOG site, etc.

* Performed production data analysis using Dr. James Crafton's Reciprocal Productivity Index (RPI). Assisted in basin-wide acquisition targeting using RPI, high-grading prospects in higher-perm areas (mostly due to natural fractured systems.

* Analyzed and recommended acquisition targets; looking at existing PDP production, as well as PDNP and PUDs for infill and recompletion potential.

* Experienced in evaluation of oil and gas properties, using ARIES and working with Ryder-Scott and Netherland-Sewell.

* Supervised hydraulic fracture jobs, the first successful ones in the Sacramento Basin.

General Manager - Kress International Inc 1989 – 1997

* Management and operations for regional chain of ten women's apparel stores in South Florida.

* Responsibilities included personnel (recruitment of personnel, training of office and store workforce), supervision of warehouse and distribution activities, software implementation and development, comptroller functions.

* Supervised 80 to 120 employees including HR and safety functions, and customer-relations management program implementation.

Petroleum Engineer - Union Oil Company of California (later UNOCAL) 1981 – 1985

* Responsible for extensive workover program in Santa Paula, Ca. Selected and implemented successful recompletions in wells (some of which were nearly 100 years old and cased with wood!). Repair and re-sizing of lifting systems (PCP pumps primarily) led to an increase in production of nearly 170% in one field in two years, 230% increase in production in another within three years. Initiated and selected zones for recompletions in bypassed pay zones.

* Completed company training program consisting of rotation between drilling, production and reservoir engineering departments.

* Compiled data and wrote in-house study on jars and bumper subs.
