Duties and Responsibilities:
The supervision of all works necessary for the successful completion of construction and installation of BTIP offshore 36" x 14.5 Km cement mortar lined Water Disposal Pipeline and 48" x 39.0 Km Crude Oil Export Pipeline including concrete weight coating of the pipelines and corrosion protection, supervise and monitor progress on the clearing of the right of way and stripping of the top soil if necessary, monitor the trenching and ditching to make sure that they meet the dimensions and specifications, supervise the lowering of the pipeline into the trench or ditch and the backfilling, participate in shore pulling activities, participate in the pressure testing of the pipeline in order to determine the integrity of the pipeline before commissioning, keeping up to date data/information on the Progress of the Project.
* Review and ensure implementation of Procedures, MS, JHA and ITP.
* Enforce strict compliance and implementation of laid out work procedures on site.
* Carry out site inspections and document Permit to work Violation and HIR.
* Assess and evaluate sub-contractors' installation methodologies with respect to HSE, QA/QC, Equipment, Labour resources, schedule and risk management.
* Review and comment on project documents from the BTIP EPIC Sub-Contractors to HHI.
* Preparation of project schedules and planning.
* Reviewing and approving sub-contractors procedures and method statements.
* Inspections and supervision of sub-contractors weekly activities.
* Coordinating all sub-contractors correspondence related to the project plan and execution.
* Supervise and coordinate all activities related to offshore operations both on the shore and at work site (Offshore Barges and Platforms).
* Coordinate and perform internal and external Audits on Project Quality Management Systems.
* Coordinate offshore operations and installations of SPM, PLEM and Telemetry systems at SPDC Bonny CLP and new installed SPM.
* Coordination and involving in the pre-qualification of all sub-contractors to HHI and recommendation to Client-SPDC.
* Target zero LTI until project completion and delivery.
