Mostly work involved drilling both long and short radius horizontal well from existing welllbores. Some of the work involved conventional workovers. Experience with coil tubing and various types of sand sandscreens in an H2S environment.

Consulting Supervision of Drilling and Completions in Alberta and Overseas for oil companies and consulting firms. Supervised the drilling and completion of oilwells in Nigeria and oil and gas wells in Canada.

1992 - 1993 Petronas Carigali SDN. BHD. Drilling/Completions Operations
Engineer. Planning and programming, technical service bids for offshore wells in the South China Sea. Assisted in the training of Nationals.
Majority of the operations involved working over old platform wells, recovering old completion strings, abandoning same then sidetracking. The wells were usually completed with gravelpacks.

1988 - 1990 Arabian Gulf Oil Company. Drilling/Completions Supervisor.
Supervised rig crews in the drilling and workover operations in Sarir area of Libya. Assist in the training of Nationals. Planned the logistics of material and equipment necessary for the drilling of wells. Planned and carried out well testing and operations and analysis.

1985 - 1986 Gulf Canada Corp. Supervisor Drilling Engineering, Partner
Operations. Supervised team of three engineers in monitoring and looking after the companies interests concerning Gulf Partner Operated wells in all
Frontier areas of Canada. Promoted engineering involvement in the administration side of the business which resulted in $4 million being recovered from an East Coast Operator as a result of ineffective billing practices of wellhead equipment.

1984 - 1985 Gulf Canada Corp. Supervisor Completions. Supervised service rig crews completing wells in the Settler, Valleyview and Ft. Nelson areas of
Alberta and British Columbia. Coordinated the planning and logistics of material, personnel and equipment necessary to complete wells. Prepared programs for the well design and completions Achieved an appreciation of how the completions group inter-relates to the up and downstream operations.

1982 - 1984 Gulf Canada Corp. Senior Project Drilling Engineer. Prepared the surface layout and wrote technical specifications for the drilling equipment on two offshore Arctic Drilling Barges, the "Kulluk and Molikpaq".
Supervised the commissioning of the equipment at shipyards in Tamino and
Nagoya Japan. Developed a technical expertise in project management.
Successfully managed a budget of $50 million and ordered all drilling components, tubulars, handling cranes and well control equipment.
Contributed significantly to the construction of two offshore drilling vessels.

1978 - 1982 Gulf Canada Corp. Drilling Supervisor. Supervised drilling crews in the SE, SW and central areas of Alberta and NW British Columbia.
Developed strong interpersonal skills and effectively dealt with many different personality types. Organized the planning and logistics of material, personnel and equipment necessary for the drilling of wells.
Expanded my technical expertise in the area of drilling operations such as fishing and directional drilling.

1978 Norske Gulf Production Co. A/S. Drilling Engineer. Prepared drilling programs and organized procurement of some of the material required.
Occasionally filled in as Drilling Foreman relief. Achieved a good deal of satisfaction from a job well done in an understaffed environment.

1975 - 1978 Gulf Canada Corp. Drilling Engineer. Trained as a Drilling
Engineer initially in the Foothills Drilling then through Canadian Marine
Drilling in the Beaufort Sea and also with Gulf Corp. in Alaska and
California. Wrote well programs and conducted engineering studies on such things as mud systems, expertise in the area of offshore operations. Gained basic Drilling Engineering experience.

1972 - 1974 Baroid International. Drilling Fluid Sales Engineer. Responsible for the sales and service of drilling fluid products in Saudi Arabia, Abu
