Present Duties & Responsibilities

Data Engineer

* Provide real-time pore pressure fracture gradient modeling using Predict software.
* Monitor torque and drag, ECD for hole stability and hole cleaning
* Optimize drilling procedure to maintain bit life and drilling efficiency.
* QC well logs and real-time transmitted data.
* Unsure safe working practices within the logging unit.
* Oversee ongoing logistic,maintenance & calibration of all surface logging sensors & materials.
* Liaise with client over logging requirements.
* Attend daily operations meetings and report back.

Wellsite geologist

* Provide geological operations support for exploration prospects
* Compilation of final well reports and composite log production
* Integration of all relevant data (e.g. petrophysics, core data, well test interpretation) into well prognosis
* Cuttings evaluation and core preparation at the wellsite.
* Liaison with Drilling Engineer(s) to ensure optimum drilling performance and evaluation of any potential geological drilling hazard
* Selection of optimum formation evaluation solutions

Surveyor

. Verification & quality control of computer generated mining reports.
. Identifying past, current & future mining information update requirements & ensuring same is correctly processed to the system database.
. Research & interpretation of abandonment plans & update of Licensing, working rights & mine entry information.
. Mineral Estates Management - the issuing, receipt & recording of permission documentation for site investigations; monitoring site / shaft / adit treatment; Conveyance of mine entries.
. Assist in the discharge of all Authority statutory duties & responsibilities with regard to provision / disclosure of information including those further to surface Hazard occurrences.
