Position: PMC Senior Construction Mechanical Superintendent
Nature of work:
I work and I involve with building new oil tanks farm for storage of the crude Oil in the west field of Kuwait. And also I'm working with the gathering centre 28, project No 14 26 for the west Kuwait.
The oil tanks are connected to one another, the oil tanker pier and the pipeline pump station by underground pipelines which run over centrally radio controlled "junctions". Booster pumps press the crude oil to the pipeline pump station. Pipe rack, flier area, degas boost.
I act as piping lead engineer as well and adviser for the company and I have had many duties and responsibilities as:
Verification that all EPCM contractors implement their technical scope for piping in the field monitor and verify that all aspects of the flawless start up initiative relevant to piping are carried out by the EPCM contractor's in the field.
I also involved with Implementation of the field specific technical assurance plans and procedures and Participation in technical assurance audits participation in the site surveillance program and communicates and follows u observed non conformities.
I Provides input to technical studies that enable to make sound investment decision. Performs work which involves conventional engineering practices, but may also include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirement. Project specific specifications, suitability of standard materials and difficult co ordination requirement.
Other duties were also such as:
* Oil Inlet-Outlet Station, Works provided: detailed engineering, technical supervision, legal / land administration, permits obtaining.

May ´06 to September ´06 Company: Monitor Oil Company (Uk)
Position: Mechanical Construction / piping Engineer / Platform
Nature of work:
My job was to work with construction, pipeline, steel work and fabrication exhausts and piping design, designing of the platform and buoys and i was involved with the sub sea buoy project which provides control via a telemetry link between a host platform and remote buoys installed locally to the production wells using satellite, line-of-sight or HF radio systems. Power is provided by long-running 6 diesel generator sets. Typically 4x6 kW units are used. During normal operation (un-manned) only one will be operating. A second unit is started during manned intervention to provide additional power for lighting, ventilation, personnel lift or hoist and other services. The remaining two diesels provide further standby. In the unlikely event of a complete breakdown, emergency power system batteries provide for 10 days continued operation.
Other duties and responsibilities was
* Maintaining a daily site diary.
* Handling all piping technical queries and investigating all field pipe work related problems, including the drawing of field sketches when necessary.
* Preparing 'As Built' drawings.
* Ensuring fully detailed documentation of all piping activities are raised and completed prior to handover.
* Maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel working on the job site.
* Coordinating with Engineering and Construction and liaise with the Client on detail engineering requirements.
