Responsibilities included: Supervised team of EMS coordinators which trained all drilling and production personnel in EMS, developed environmental and operations procedures, assessed facilities for environmental/regulatory compliance. Supported field operations by conducting mock audits and web site reviews in preparation for ISO 14001 certification at each manned Shelf field and shore base facility in GoM operations. We had received certification at 50 sites, which met the objective of certifying all GoM manned facilities by year end 2002. 7 Teamed with a contract source and developed the Waste Manual for Offshore operations. It was stated the Waste Manual was the most useful document/manual offshore personnel had ever received offshore.

9 Ensured annual US Coast Guard platform inspections were done and submitted to the Coast Guard.
10 Handled appeals to Minerals Management Service for disputes of Incidents of Non-Compliance, by writing letters and meeting with them.
11 On-Water Spill Response Coordinator, Supervised the on water response activities during offshore emergencies. Coordinated all incident response training for offshore personnel and supervised onshore clean-up operations.

6 Completed many field MMS inspections with no incidents of non-compliance, including the only one with the Houma MMS district in Amoco's offshore history.
