Operations Geologist: Nexus Energy (Sept. 2008 - 2009)
Brought on to participate in the planning and execution of Nexus' 2009, 8 well offshore Browse Basin development/exploration program. Responsibilities included:
* Tender preparation, review and recommendation for Wireline, Mudlogging and MWD/LWD service providers
* Well Planning document generation, including: Basis of Well Design, Mudlogging Evaluation programs and Wireline/Formation Evaluation programs
* Composite Log generation
* Basic Well Completion Report writing for recently completed Gippsland, Bonaparte and Browse Basin drilling campaigns
* Member of Crisis Management Team and Emergency Response team
* Tracking and submission of well data and samples to government bodies in accordance with relevant Data Management Programs (DMP)
* Liaising with Drilling to provide geologic input for well design and engineer for proposed new drilling locations

* Compilation of Well Evaluation/Completion Reports for a 10 well offshore exploration and development program, Nam Con Son Basin, Viet Nam

VP Exploration: Waveform Energy Ltd (2005 - 2006)
Reporting directly to the CEO, CFO and the Board of Directors, responsibilities included:
* Coordination and review of Reservoir Characterization studies, Regional Play/Prospect reviews, and Independent Reserve Calculations for regulatory submissions
* Ensuring the Company's compliance to Securities and Government Regulations
* Investor Relations presentations through Calgary, Boston and New York for multiple Company financings, general shareholder meetings, and AGMs
* Play and prospect generation for the company. Drilling/geological planning, implementation and supervision of identified prospects
* Review and assessment (technical and economic) of proposed new joint ventures, farm-in or acquisitions. Contract terms and agreement reviews for same if presented
* Prospect development and generation across the Company's land holdings
* Planning, execution and completion of company wells, resulting in two new light oil discoveries on company lands

International Wellsite Operations (1997 onwards)
* Experience through Brazil, Ecuador, Yemen, Western and Atlantic Canada, and offshore NW Shelf Australia
* Supervised on- and off-shore (semi-sub and jack-up), development and rank exploration projects
* Supervised wells included deep verticals (4000+ metres) through to extended reach (>1000m) horizontals, and multi-leg laterals
* Wells and projects targeted both normally pressured and over-pressured reservoirs, monitored through use of LWD Sonic, Resistivity and Neutron/Density, where needed
* Accurate Core point selection for reservoir evaluations
* Supervision of on-site mudlogging services and personnel ensuring data quality and integrity
* QC of full suite wireline logging operations: including MDT, DSI, CMR, FMI/OBMI, CST, MSCT, VSP
* Communication, collaboration and information dispersal to specific government ministries and partners
* Final Well Completion/End of Well Report compilation for government and corporate submissions
* Horizontal well supervision through both carbonate and clastic reservoirs, targeting porosity zones ranging in thickness from multiple-metres to less than one metre
* Horizontal well supervision required "while drilling" adjustments to TVD target horizons through use of on-site LWD data, cutting samples and bit predictions (Geo-steering)
* Independent research projects for clients using core and sample analysis, providing facies and stratigraphic interpretations and correlations of individual reservoirs
* Familiar with varied drilling systems and techniques, including: Nitrogen-injection systems, foam/mist based under-balanced drilling, oil-based mud systems, and standard water-based drilling systems
