Supervised seven persons (lab chemists ), helping and coordinating with them so as to smoothen the daily lab business and reporting to top management in streamlined fashion.
Also looked after the CETP for electroplating effluent, conducting lab experiments for further improvement of CETP, Liasing with State Pollution control board
In general chemical analysis, I have an experience in carrying out Physicochemical, biological and toxicity tests of various samples of drinking Water, Wastewater, solid waste & air pollution, noise pollution. I have also tried my hand in food testing samples.
Knowledge of handling various analytical instruments including calibration e.g. UV/VIS Spectrophotometer, Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer, HPLC, Gas chromatography for gas analysis using TCD detector, Ion analyzer, DR 2000 spectrophotometer, FT-IR, Handy stack sampler, Handy air sampler, Respirable & High volume sampler, wind monitor, Digital Flue gas analyzer etc. along with knowledge of computer and internet
Keeping the quality policy (NABL-criteria 17025) maintained & implemented in lab, participation in internal periodic Quality audit and Quality audit by National accreditation board for Laboratories, Govt. of India (NABL)
Additional Responsibilities: -
ƒæ Deputy Lab In charge, Internal auditing.
ƒæ To assist and report to Technical Manager, Quality Manager, Head Dept. of Analytical Services, In charge chemical and Environmental Lab. to implement NABL criteria.
ƒæ Coordinating the store purchase activity including indent raising, Procurement of stores related with lab. /project from central store, Inspection of the items, clearance of inspection reports, record maintenance and participation in periodic & annual auditing etc.
