Summary:
Over twenty-seven years of design, engineering and project management experience. Fifteen years subsea production controls experience from conceptual FEED to installation/commissioning for deepwater projects. Skills include scheduling/estimating, equipment specifications, bid evaluation, vendor/client interface and variation control. Project work has included subsea production and intervention controls, subsea umbilical/distribution equipment, flying leads, topside equipment, ROV interfaces and support tooling for installation operations. Subsea Controls consultant assigned to the Doris office in Paris FR for the USAN FEED. Work included liaison to the Houston office, developed controls related specifications, compiled and delegated assignments, project status and variation control for the related scope of work. Sr. controls consultant at the Houston office for a number of FEED studies. Duties included installation campaigns for BHP NEPTUNE and acting company representative for MURPHY AZURITE umbilical installation.
Stress Subsea, Houston, TX (01/05 – 06/05)
Contract Subsea Consultant assigned to BHP NEPTUNE FEED study. Developed specifications, supported engineering studies and documentation for the production controls scope, along with input for preliminary field and equipment designs. Supported vendor clarifications and bidding process.
FMC Energy Systems – Kongsberg Offshore, Houston, TX (05/02 – 12/04)
Contract Project Manager assigned to the FMC/SHELL Alliance team. Managed control system scope for SERRANO OREGANO II, HABANERO, NA KIKA and COULOMB field developments. Assisted aftermarket team in procurement of service assets and IWOCS systems to support existing and future projects. Duties included budget management, product specification, procurement of services and equipment, and manufacturing support. Delegation of work to personnel and support systems. Overall schedule and budget management.

Contract Sr. Design Engineer Consultant. Design and implementation of production controls systems for SHELL CONGER and BP CANYON EXPRESS projects. Duties included the design of production control, IWOCS, and R&D of well intervention equipment. Produced specifications for the manufacturing, testing and installation of equipment. Acquisition of related design and manufacturing services required for project completion. Delegation and scheduling of project design personnel.
