Currently working on a number of piping design studies for our clients, ranging from Ula Power upgrade to Valhall Produced Water.

Each study has involved a lot of PDMS modeling for FEED stages. Including all new piping runs, new equipment, demolition and exist piping etc. MTO take offs also.

Valhall Re-development FEED consisted of new PH platform, work involved to support new PH platform and mods on the existing Valhall Field - 5 Platforms (Drilling, Quarters, Wellhead, Injection and Process Compression platforms)

New High Level bridges installed across valhall field consists of 10 sections lifted in separately by a heavy vessel, scopes and issues resolving for dropped object protection, laydown issues, structural changes, bridge movements, piping reroutes, cable and instrument reroutes and pipe expansion loops.

Implemented an addition software package to use with PDMS (Cloudworx). This is to allow scanning survey details/data to be viewed within PDMS model, this was to give designers a better insight to see what exists offshore and to provide a useful tool when it required to route large volumes of pipes with severe large, confined platforms areas.

Piping jobs included scopes such as New Gas Cooler, Chemical Injection packages, HPU, Coalescer and Condensate Export studies. Involved as a Pipe Support Designer on PDMS Draft Package, producing all Pipe Supports for the EPC & ELQ BG scopes.

I was used extensively as a user to run the review models in workpack meetings for PSRA's, Constructability and Design Review's. Also tried to encourage separate disciplines in the use of PDMS and especially engineers with regard to the use of the Review Model - this helped identify areas of concern regarding workscopes and design.

Worked as a Trainee Piping Designer on the Mobil & Talisman Contracts, involved in producing work for the Piping Dept on PDMS, Microstation, and Pipe Supports in PDMS Design and PDMS Draft.

My main responsibilities within the Piping Dept were the production of fab/destruct isometrics, pipe supports drawing and updating P&ID's.

I participated in offshore surveys to ExxonMobil Beryl Alpha & Beryl Bravo platforms. Survey work included piping modifications to Gas Lift and Water Injection flowlines as well as helping with a feasibility study for an additional Skene Gas Compression.

Responsible for creating and implementing a unique Valve Identification Schedule for the Mobil Platforms Beryl Alpha & Beryl Bravo. Work involved marking up all current P&Id's, allocating a new identification number for each valve on the platform. A Schedule was compiled for listings of Materials, Ratings, Line Numbers, Specifications, and respective Flowsheet Numbers, corresponding Data Sheets and actual Location of each valve on the platform.
Archived all closed-out piping projects, which involved handing over latest copies of updated drawings that are ready to be newly microfiche and have to be included into the existing filing system of DCC. QA/QC documentation had to be boxed separately then issued to DCC for an archiving maximum period of eight years.
