JOB DESCRIPTION:
Working in FPSO in Etame field in Gabon as Production Superintendent.
Duties and responsibilities as PRODUCTION SUPERINTENDENT include assisting OIM in emergency response. Familiar with the facility's production systems and ensure that the Production staff are adequately trained in their safe operation and maintenance.
Possess knowledge of safety requirements, including permit to work systems, operational and emergency procedures, Company policy and instructions and ensure that the facility's Production staff are aware of, and understand them.
Maintain accurate records conforming to the Facility Management System and ensure that manuals and drawings are up to date.
Responsible for timely ordering of stores and spare gear and maintenance of sufficient onboard stock levels.
Assist in the planning of major repairs, modifications and surveys.
Responsible for ensuring that the Safety Management System and Operational procedures within the production department are implemented.
With the OIM, CHSEL and Maintenance Supervisor shall jointly review compliance with the Safety Management System, Operational Procedures and document the findings on the Compliance Review Sheet every year.
Write Operational Procedures and Temporary Work Instructions as the need arises to cover new processes and projects.
Ensure that all plant start ups and shutdowns are performed safely in accordance with procedures.
Ensure the safe and efficient isolation, de-isolation and reinstatement of all process plant.
Ensure accurate daily reports are prepared and transmitted at the correct time. Perform individual appraisals of production personnel regularly and ensure that training needs are identified and training requirements fulfilled.
Monitor and support contractors' activities on the process plant to carry out work in safe and efficient manner and in compliance with the Facililty Management System.
Supervise performance and compliance testing of wells. Responsible for monitoring pipe work condition via corrosion probe readings, ultrasonic thickness checks and iron counts.
Worked in FPSO in Nortrans/Prosafe in Kiame field in Angola. Job involves the safe operation of the process plant which includes separators, coalescer, gas compression and optimization of gas lift to wells, water separation and disposal, well test, lab analysis, optimization of chemical injection, preparation of daily and monthly reports etc.
Responsibilities as Production Supervisor includes safe operation of the process plant in day and night shift, shut down and start up of plant, operation of pigging pump driven by Caterpillar engine, well flow line pigging, choke flushing, crude heaters, well control (HPU) operation, lab analysis, PLC operation, preparation of daily and monthly reports, preparation of work permit, simple maintenance and assist in maintenance activities. Responsible for

maintaining stock of materials, chemicals, laboratory equipments, consumables etc, raising Materials Request, monthly inventories etc. Have commissioning experience of the process plant and upgrading of process unit including commissioning of new wells, gas compressor and gas lifting of wells in Etame field, Gabon.
Worked in Al-Furat Petroleum Company (AFPC), Syria in Gathering station, Production station and Gas gathering units consisting of glycol contactor for water absorption from gas, glycol re-boiler, refrigeration compressors, separators, multi stage reciprocating compressor driven by gas engine, PLC control panel etc.
Responsible for the safe operation and optimum production of a gathering station (Sijan) producing 60,000 BOPD and 30 MMCFD of gas. Gathering station consists of two independent units of H.P., I.P., and L.P separators, Test separator and gas gathering unit, gas treatment and compression, pig launcher/receiver, chemical injection etc. Production station consists of gas boot, dehydration tanks, desalination tanks, storage tanks, transfer pumps, multi stage centrifugal export pumps, metering (LACT) unit, water separation and disposal units, DCS operation.
Worked in Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) oil Gathering stations, Early Production Facilities, Production station consisting of manifold, pig receivers and launchers, water settling tanks, storage tanks, skim tanks, gas fired oil bath crude heaters, transfer pumps, multi stage export centrifugal pumps, high capacity export reciprocating pumps, heaters, heat exchangers, water separation and disposal system, chemical injection, Gas (H2S) treatment plant, wellheads, Lufkin beam pumps (air balancing and counter weight type), manifold PLC system, diesel engines and generators. Carried out well test, well bottom hole pressure build up survey, Dynograph of beam pump sucker rod loads, traveling and stationary valves performance, oil depth survey, monitoring bottom hole pressure etc. Have good commissioning experience of Production station, Gathering station, Wellhead and associated equipments. Familiar with H2S monitors, usage of Breathing Apparatus in H2S areas and other fire fighting equipments.
Worked in Urea plant in Madras Fertilizers Ltd with a capacity of 1000 MT/Day. Very familiar with the operation and simple maintenance of equipments like high pressure (230 kg/cm2) reciprocating compressors (Nova Pignone) and pumps (Uraca),
Urea Reactor (230 kg/cm2), absorbers, re-generators, condensers, separators, dehumidifiers, evaporators, prilling unit, heat exchangers, storage tanks, conveyors, elevators, other solid handling systems etc. Well conversant with shut down, start up and emergency procedures and normal field operation, control panel operation, troubleshooting of process equipments, pneumatic and electronic instruments.
Responsibilities in oil/gas fields include onshore oil well surveillance, well sampling and testing, turbine driven pump operations, process monitoring and controlling, daily production report generation, release of equipments for maintenance, start up and shut down of plant and equipments, safety implementation etc.
SAFETY / OTHER COURSES: Undergone various safety courses related to Marine and Process plant under CBT (computer based training), STCW-96 courses, Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) and STOP / TAKE TWO (Du Pont) training.
Undergone Enhancement of Leadership Skills course in Singapore.
