Job Title: Condition Monitoring Engineer (Rotating Equipment Vibration Engineer)
Nature of Jobs & Responsibilities
A-Plan, coordinate and supervise the Condition Monitoring groups to ensure all Condition Monitoring maintenance programs work activities such as vibration monitoring and analysis, lube oil collection and analysis, piping vibration inspection, valve passing inspection, thermography inspection, noise inspection
B-Implementation of site wide rotating equipment vibration (and other 'condition based') monitoring programme and Provided technical and spares support to mechanical maintenance group.
C- Knowledge of high speed complex rotating equipment and their maintenance techniques, repairs, diagnostics and fault analysis. (Gas turbines, pumps, motors, gearboxes, turbo compressors, screw compressors, Reciprocating Compressors etc)
D-Working experience of Bently Nevada / CSI / SKF / IRD - PC based On-Line & Off-Line Condition Monitoring systems (Hardware & Software)
E-Manage and develop Predictive Maintenance Programme for rotating machinery covering over 500 rotating machines. The equipment is varied, typically gas turbine, air and gas compressors and general purpose pumps
F- Building up machinery data base for condition monitoring; organizing a schedule for monitoring the rotating machines in the plants.
G-Collecting vibration data using data collectors, analysis these data using computer software, interpretation of results, diagnosis of equipment defects and producing technical reports to improve reliability of the machine and machine performance.
H-Onsite troubleshooting and rectification of activities
I- Monitor major rotating machinery in terms of operational, maintenance data, trend and recommends/implements changes in maintenance strategy to improve performance.
J-To carry out the unplanned contingency works (defect or failure) and advises the procedure for the proper repair, with reference to the design parameters and the applicable standards.
K-Good experience in dealing with LAZER alignment of equipment.
L- Performing predictive maintenance programme of rotating machinery through SAP system
M-Good experience in dealing with NDT inspection methods:
„³ Liquid penetrate testing (PT)
„³ Magnetic particle testing (MT)
„³ Ultrasonic testing (UT)

* Vibration analysis for rotating equipment and giving technical support for breakdown diagnostic.
* Review technical performance of existing, and evaluate and implement new, plant/equipment technologies to improve reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
