Project: - BP - Khazzan Makarem EWT Project.
Lead Engineer for BP Gas Expansion Project for Select and Define phase. This ongoing project mainly consists of sweet gas wellheads connected via fiber optic network with master control room for wellhead controls. The wellhead hydraulic panel, multiphase flow metering system, safety system, fire & gas detection system are the major instru-mentation items to be purchased under this project. In-tools and smart plant manage-ment system are used for data management.
Project: - Lekhwair Expansion – Phase-II
Responsibilities included were Detail Design of new Gas Compressor & GCU, construc-tion drawing packages, IPF Study and closeouts, DCS/PLC FAT and plant commission-ing support
Project: - Lekhwair LPS relay based Fire & Gas system changeover to PLC based system and staggered blowdown.
The existing relay based old panels to be replaced with the new SIL-3 PLC based Fire & Gas System. Write online changeover philospphy. From relay to PLC based system with DCS inter-faces,. The job completed in time and smooth changeover is achieved.
Project: - Thuleilat Expansion and Zauliyah Gas Expansion FEED projects.
This project was to expand the capacity of the station for water handling. New DCS and PLC including new control room were proposed as the existing control room was full.
Project: - Zauliyah Gas Expansion FEED projects.
To meet the PDO Zero flaring philosophy this job was very important. Also the losses were huge due to gas flaring. Completed FEED design on priority.

Project: - Nimr DWD Phase "7" project.
Deep water disposal as shallow water disposal to stop and also increase in the produced water this project was completed as fast track project.
July 2004 – June 2005 Parsons Group Oman Engineering LLC, Muscat (Sultanate of Oman)
Project: - "Bulk Separation Expansion (5th Separator)" at Lekhwair.
To meet the new production forecast it was decided to put the new separator. The job was FEED/DD and completed with DCS/PLC logic implementation.
Project: - FED Lekhwair PB-05 Pipeline projects Concept/FEED.
Increase the production by drilling more wells and make new station functional. PDO gave 3 projects in Lekhwair area for Bulk line and station FEED and completed all of them as per schedule including IPF closeout.
Project: - Gas Injection Wells GI-5 & GI-6 at Barik
Work involved was to generate the construction package drawings with PLC Logic and inter-faces for High Pressure Gas injection wells.

May 2002 – June 2004 Parsons Group Oman Engineering LLC, Muscat (Sultanate of Oman)
Project: - Sohar PRT FEED
This was the biggest PRT designed in Oman with 5 streams and future capacity to add 3 more. As a lead engineer completed all the activities of Engineering including the IPF and other FEED deliverable.
Project: - Barik Central Gathering Station Project Detail Design
The Detail Design involved interfaces with all the engineering departments and smart plant con-cept was implemented first time with fieldbus control system in PDO. Completed the new station design with IPF and other prestart up reviews. At that time this was one of the biggest DD job in company.
Project: - GASCO HABSHAN Hazop
As a team leader from C&A department and being a senior member attended the entire com-plex Hazop done by the Worleyparsons team of engineers. Also prepared the bid/tendor docu-ment for the Habshan expansion projects instrumentation. Visited Habshan site to collect the data in 2006.
Project: - Saih Rawl CPP - Mercury Removal Project
Due to increased Gas demand and the mercury traces present in the gas around SaihRawl the mercury removal project was initiated. The main challenge was high pressure gas leak detec-tion and the controlling the adsorber inlet flow.
Project: - Barik Central Gathering Station Project FED.
New station designed to handle GAS and Liquids and Gas of Barik wells. The station designed with High Pressure gas compressor and liquid export system. New Control room with Fieldbus Control System and SIL-3 PLC and latest are of technology instrumentation was introduced in PDO in this project.

Apr. 2002 – Oct. 2000 Parsons Group Oman Engineering LLC, Muscat (Sultanate of Oman)
Project: - modification in F&G panel at Fahud.
The Fire & Gas panel modification for additional sensor was carried out in the GTI MAGLOK Solid state system.
Project: - ORC Logic modification.
PLC Logic modification for the ORC Gasoline Blending plant was carried out to add more ca-pacity with new stream.
Project: - HP well head hookup jobs & its requisitions (STS).
Handled all the high pressure well hook-up and MTO.
Project: - Barka PRT project
Front end engineering activities including IPF, Hazop, design of Foundation Fieldbus system for new PRT station for OGC.
Project: - Barka Water Transmission Project for Ministry of Elect. and Water (MEW)
Invloved in all the construction commissioning related activities of the project. Conducted SAT with vendor at site.

Aug. 1989- Sept. 2000 JACOBS H & G Mumbai India (Formerly Humphreys & Glasgow Consultants Ltd.)

Project: - Saint Gobain Glass Plant Project.

Lead Instrument Engineer for the Saint Gobain Glass Plant Project. The Instrumentation ac-tivities were as follows:-

Preparation of Technical, functional specifications for the DCS (I/A System) of Foxboro and PLC system of Allen Bradley with Flex I/O cards. The process control System design for this project is based on Profibus, Modbus, Data highway + and Ethernet network.

Specification, selection, procurement, inspection of all field Instruments.

The major field instruments are Fieldbus Compatible Transmitters and Mass Flowmeters.

LPG unloading & safety logic implemented by solid state relay logic system.

Instrumentation Engineering package for Analysers such as CO2, Sox, Nox (Servomax) Opac-ity (API UK) and Moisture Analyser (Panametrics) and H2 analyser of Parametric make.
Philips weighing system also was commissioned with special SCADA software interface.

Project: - Rama Petrochemical.

Handled Rama Petrochemical Ltd. 1700 TPA Gelatin Plant located near Chandigarh. This plant has FDA approval for all the layouts and other installation. Also worked for M/s. Ranbaxy for their plant of Bulk Drug near Chandigarh. This plant has a Fix Dema system providing unlim-ited capacity points within SCADA along with Foxboro single loop controllers and Allen Bradley PLC for the interlocks and safety operations. Also worked on the Seawater Magnesia and han-dled all the Critical Instruments like Magnetic Flowmeter (Fisher Rosemount) and TV cameras (Piper). Also handled the High Temperature measurement system sensor requirements and special installation schemes.

Project: - LNG Train-3 At Das Island (Abu Dhabi)

Worked with Chiyoda corporation of Japan for their LNG Train III at Das Island AbuDhabi. Handled all the ISO records as well as all the field commissioning activities like Jetty Instrumen-tation where 100" Big Adams make motorised valves were interfaced with Honeywell DCS & re-lay logic panel. Also handled the Boil-off Gas compressor instrumentation such as fast Press-sure control loop and changeover sequence of the motorised valves. Also handled Gas Detec-tion System PLC of Triconex make and 2 out of 3 sequences. Also Worked for UREA project of MHI located in Bahrain. Handled all the Critical Hook-ups and other installation require-ments.

Project: - Thermo Plastic Elastomer Project of M/s. ATV India Ltd.

Lead engineer Instrumentation and executed 10,000 TPA Thermo Plastic Elastomer Project.
Main work areas were
Field instrumentation Specification, Technical Evaluation.
DCS specs and detailed evaluation. (Foxboro I/A series, Yokogawa Centum XL, Honeywell TDC-3000 and SCADA interfaces)
Instrument inspection for the items like Yokogawa Harp Series, Masoneilan Control Valves and Yokogawa DCS/SCADA Centum XL.
Worked on the PLC of Allen Bradley make SLC500 series
Gas detector from Detection Instruments US.

Project: - Reliance Petroleum PVC/VCM Hazira.

Worked on Reliance Hazira VCM PVC plant Offsite utilities and handled Auto-tank level gaug-ing system and other fuel metering systems and prepared detailed instrument index.
