CURRENT CAREER SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE
Looking for position in Upper Management or similar openings in Oil Industry Project, especially, but not limited to, the Former Soviet Union. Residential, Rotational Position, Contract or permanent positions are all acceptable
I have much experience in the FSU Kazakhstan (8 years + Russia) being responsible for new projects in Drilling Mud and Completion Brine Field Engineering services, LMP, Brine Plant, Solids Control, and Waste Management for KPO Karachaganak Project. I am involved in Business Development Opportunities in Kazakhstan and Russia, mainly in drilling fluids and waste management, but also in other oil services sectors. I have a lot of experience in business with local companies, local and government bodies and legislation in Kazakhstan and Russia, which is especially complicated for foreign companies wishing to operate in the Former Soviet Union.
I have a successful record of winning new business in the Former Soviet Union, especially Kazakhstan. In the last 3 years my success rate in tenders has been in the region of 80%. More recently I have also been closely involved in identifying and successfully recruiting new staff in the rapidly expanding oil services market
I have internationally, for the majority of my 32 years on the Oil Business. I speak good Russian, and am well acquainted with the difficulties, and rewards of working in the Former Soviet Union. I am a very fit and active person, non smoker, who believes the Former Soviet Union is a very exciting and challenging area of the world, with excellent prospects for those who are prepared to be innovative and determined, and have respect for the people of this region.

SUMMARY

I am currently based in Moscow, in charge of (Shtokman – Consortium of Gazprom, TOTAL, and Statoil-Hydro)) Project in Barents Sea for all matters concerning Drilling Fluids, Waste Management, and Cementing on a 1 year contract which expires in. mid September 2009. I have a 1 week notice period within this contract which would enable me to take up a new position at short notice.
Shtokman Project is in planning stage for development of huge offshore Gas Field in the Russian Arctic - Barents Sea. My core responsibilities are:- FEED Planning. Conceptual Studies, Technical Papers and Reviews. Preparation of Documents and Presentations for Workshops, TAC, TEO and Shareholders Meetings. Compilation of Drilling Fluids, Waste Management, and Cementing Philosophy/Strategy Documents. Assessment of Contractors. Preparation of Prequalification Questionnaires and Tenders for the 3 Product lines. Preparation of Documents for State Licensing Authorities. Logistical planning for Onshore base in Murmansk, with particular reference to Liquid Mud Plant, Drilling Waste Management Complex, warehousing and Bulking Plant, and all HSE and Environmental issues associated with the Project.
Deepwater Drilling Experience, 1990-1991 and 1999-2001West of Shetland UK. Also 2000-2001 West Africa. HTHP Well experience Kuwait, West Africa, North Sea.
