Mr. Papanna has more than 5 years diversified engineering experience in the process, petrochemical and power industries. His experience has included key engineering roles in the areas of mechanical equipment, systems engineering and project engineering. He is responsible for successfully completing all mechanical equipment activities associated with a process/petrochemical project. These duties included developing specifications and requisitioning equipment, performing technical evaluations and making recommendations for purchase, and specifying all testing, inspection and start-up requirements necessary to successfully complete the project.

Rotating Equipment Engineer, ExxonMobil Baytown Chemical Plant, Baytown, Texas.
Responsible for specifying and requisitioning all mechanical equipment on the project,including pumps, motors and steam turbines. Duties include technical evaluations of all new equipment prior to purchase, specifying testing, inspection and start-up requirements, and review and approval of vendor drawings. Failure analysis of existing pumps and prepared technical scope of work for improving the performance of pumps. Responsible for proper documentation of data generated during execution. Also responsible for coordinating with ExxonMobil to incorporate site specific requirements into equipment design. Also responsible for coordinating with ExxonMobil to ensure all specified requirements are incorporated into equipment design and participates with ExxonMobil in pre-award vendor meetings and witnessing of shop testing and inspection.
Rotating Equipment Engineer, Motiva Crude Expansion Project (CEP), Motiva Refinery, Port Arthur, Texas. Responsible for all rotating equipment including pumps, motors and steam turbines. Duties include technical evaluations of all equipment prior to purchase, specifying testing, inspection and start-up requirements, and review and approval of vendor drawings. Also responsible for coordinating with Shell/Motiva to ensure all specified requirements are incorporated into equipment design and participates with Shell/Motiva in pre-award vendor meetings and witnessing of shop testing and inspection.

Duties include technical evaluations of all equipment prior to purchase, specifying testing, inspection and start-up requirements, and review and approval of vendor drawings.
Mechanical Engineer, BP Integrity Resource Project, BP Refinery, Texas City, Texas. Responsible for all pressure equipment including vessels, exchangers, air-coolers, drums and tanks. Duties include technical evaluations on trouble shooting failures, repairs and evaluate the mechanical integrity of all equipment.
