SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE AND PROFILE
I joined the present Offshore Company in 1997 thus having an overall offshore experience of 12 years.

I started working as FPSO Operations Manager in December 2002.

In 2004 I took the position of FPSO Operations Proposal Manager and subsequently Pre-Operations Manager with the task to select and recruit the crew, to supervise the design from an Operations perspective, prepare the Operations Manuals, supervise the Maintenance Engineering, set-up the local office and warehouse in Brazil, in accordance with the budget estimate provided by myself during the Proposal Phase.

I am presently the Operations Manager of an FPSO, located in Brazil.

I have the overall responsibility for the smooth operations of two FPSO's, involving personnel management, safety management, maintenance management, contract management, compliance with Brazilian Regulations and Contractual Obligations, with an office team of 15 collaborators.

I have a strong commitment in the goal achievement and cost controlling focusing on the Client satisfaction within the Contract terms. I am used to work in a high complexity environment, taking the initiative and pursuing the result by coordinating all necessary resources, in the view to maximize Production keeping Safety as a priority.

WORKING EXPERIENCE

11.07 – to date: FPSO Operations Manager.
- Overall responsibility and accountability for the safe and efficient operation of the FPSO and for the management of the supporting shore based office
- Establish effective Client liaison and ensure a good working relationship is maintained at all times
- Liaise with governmental and statutory organisations and ensure that the Company complies with al its statutory, national and international obligations
- Implement and manage the ISM Policy
- Consult with and advise the Client on operating costs. Responsible for Operating costs recovery. Approve monthly financial forecasts and take corrective action where potential overruns are identified
- Obtain all necessary technical and professional support for the operations in liaison with the Parent Companies, consultant, manufacturers, vendors and contractors as required
- Periodically review sub-contracts, direct negotiations and make contractual changes as necessary
- Manage and approve the employment of new staff in accordance with the Company procedures

I have worked in this Project since the bid phase, implementing and, where absent, creating the Company standards, manning the vessel, opening the onshore base and daily managing all FPSO issues and relationship with Client.

The main features of the FPSO: designed for 100,000 barrel of oil per day, 4 Mm3/day gas compression, 24,000 m3/day of water injection.

07.05 – 10.07: FPSO Pre-Operations Manager during Tanker (VLCC) conversion and at present Operations Manager:
- Controlling of costs as established during proposal phase and forecast preparation
- Preparation of all onboard manuals, including the Operations manuals
- Project design review according to "Operations principles"
- Preparation of the office and warehouse in Brazil
- Recruitment of the crew and onshore personnel both expatriates and Brazilian
- Supervision of the Maintenance Engineering
- Interface with the relevant Authorities

12.04 – 07.05: FPSO Operations Proposal Manager with the following tasks:
