Major Projects Summary
1D, 2D Modeling: I performed forward modeling using rokdoc to understand the relationship between fluid and lithology in a reservoir interval.
This is done with wireline log data / averaged properties utilizing crossplot analysis, AVO Modeling.
I also perform 2D synthetic seismic modeling using the logged well data / averaged values on a real model. Various scenarios such as fluid substitution, saturation changes and pressure changes were tested.
I perform seismic evaluation and QC with wavelet estimation and seismic tie.
Invert to acoustic impedance, shear impedance, elastic impedance, AVOI and extended elastic impedance.
Perform consistent petrophysical interpretations (lithology, phi, So, Sg, NET, N/G, EPV, sums and averages), culminating in fully documented petrophysical models, which describe the fluids distribution within reservoirs, for implementation in 3D modeling
Conduct special studies (e.g. Routine Rock physics Analysis integrated with petrophysical analysis) to standardize petrophysical parameters and methods.

ROCK PROPERTY MODELING (Reservoir Modeling and Simulation using Roxar, Rockworks)

Following a robust well log analysis and construction of physical properties relationships for an area, rock properties models will be built to honor the geological setting and stratigraphic patterns that can provide insight into both the post-stack seismic response of the rocks. The insights gained from this process are then used in the interpretation of the seismic data.
