PROFILE:

I have been employed by The Expro Group for the last 13 years and have had the opportunity to work in the North Sea, the Gulf of Mexico and currently Australia. My current position is Senior Operations Manager based in Adelaide, Australia.
The principal accountabilities of the position are as follows:

* Supervise and manage operations and resources ensuring the Group's safety and commercial standards are maintained.
* Perform pre-operation planning such as site visits, Hazop meetings, operations meetings
* Liaise with client, sub contractors, third party suppliers and Expro support personnel regarding operations, equipment and personnel requirements.
* Co-ordinate the mobilisation/demobilisation of equipment and personnel.
* Responsible for ensuring all operations are conducted in accordance with QA/HSE and operating systems.
* Responsible for the completion of reports and associated paperwork.
* Liaise with clients to ensure all aspects of their requirements are met or exceeded.
* Manage and develop high levels of internal efficiency, continuous improvement in and between the different products and services while maintaining the highest level of safety.
* Achieve the set budget for the forthcoming year in conjunction with the Business Development Manager and Area Manager.
* Ensure that all Group policies and procedures are communicated and adhered to by staff.
* Foster a culture of safety and quality within the workplace, including managing a recognised quality system.
* Ensure that personnel have the appropriate training and competencies to achieve the required work schedules.
* Interviewing and hiring the personnel to support Expro in providing excellence in operations.
* Review staff performance on a regular basis.
* P&L responsibility for Australia East.
* Deliver Australia East budget in accordance with capex and resources.
* Deliver Excellence in Operations plan for Australia East.
* Manage client interface with Santos and promote Expro's services.

Previous to this position, I was Senior Field supervisor in Moomba based on an equal time roster.
My overall responsibilities were, but were not limited to, supervising Expro's daily operations for our customer, Santos SABU. This included the management of five wireline crews, one well test crew, two production support crews, three sand filters and two well integrity crews.

Based in an extremely busy office in Moomba, part of my daily activities included allocating work and crews, processing invoices, ensuring all of the workforce followed procedures, guidelines and adhere to the strict safety requirements in place. I also communicated daily with our customer, Santos and support personnel in the Adelaide office. One of the many responsibilities, was to be available 24/7 to trouble shoot any downhole invention issues on either Slickline operations, electric line operations, coil tubing and completions / workovers.

Prior to becoming Field Supervisor I was Senior Wireline Operator in the Cooper Basin on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rota.
Responsibilities include the safety and smooth running of all Wireline intervention work.
Preparation of equipment for 0.108"/ 0.125" Slickline and 7/32" Braided Line operations, including the daily servicing and upkeep of Volvo/ASEP landline units. Accurate reporting and hazard identification was required on a daily basis.

I was also shift Safety representative and had to chair fortnightly safety meetings and daily morning meetings as part of our target to continuously improve safety in our daily activities.

Before relocating to Australia, four years ago, I was employed by Expro Americas in the Gulf of Mexico as a Senior Wireline Operator on a 21/7 rotation.
Responsibilities included, ensuring all Wireline work was carried out as per client's instructions, running basic Wireline tools like gauge cutters, cleaning wells of Paraffin, setting / pulling plugs, running pressure/temp surveys, gas lift, Fishing and swabbing. The majority of work was on fixed platforms, jackup rigs and drilling boats that also included running completions from start to completion.

While working for Expro North Sea Ltd on the Brent Bravo as aWireline superviser / PICWS on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rota, my responsibilities included the safety and smooth running of all wireline intervention work and associated well services intervention, including completions, coil tubing, electric line, chemical squeezes, tree repairs / testing and the joint supervision of running mostly 7"completions and non selective completions.
I liaised on a day to day basis with the toolpusher and company man when the rig was in completion mode, to ensure all the technical steps in the operation were reviewed prior to implementation of the operation.

I am capable of working well on my own initiative and as part of a team and I possess excellent communication skills both with my team and with other departments.

EXPERIENCE:

I have 13 years experience working within the oil industry, of which the last 5 years has been in Australia, 1 year in the Gulf of Mexico, America and 7 years in the North Sea. Of the seven years in the North Sea, 2.5 years were on the Brent Bravo, 2 years were on the Talisman Clyde platform and 2 years ad – hoc. Over this period I have worked on a variety of offshore platforms where my job has involved basic wireline operations / maintenance, work that included safety valve changeouts, gas lift, plug installations, fishing and completions, to name but a few.
During this time, I also carried out a 4-month minimum compliance audit for Talisman (UK) one of Expro's major clients. This required checks to be done on all Talisman owned equipment, from certification to quality control. There was also the Expro RMS database to update and regular meetings with the client, to submit progress reports.
