* Calumet Lubricants Co., Shreveport, Louisiana. Startup engineer. Principal areas of responsibility are walkdown the crude/ vacuum/ diesel hydrotreater/ catalytic dewax units that construction is complete, assuring that the process unit safe to operate.
* OSBL lead process engineer. Liaison with Calumet process representative to generate the scope of the work which include the block flow diagram, three amine absorbers, two amine regenerators, three sour water strippers, four hydrogen compressors, two natural gas compressors, instrument air & plant air system, fuel gas collection system, sour hydrogen collection system, BFW, cooling water, plant water, waste water, flare system, steam system, and 200 offsite tie-ins points.
* Marathon Oil Company, Coker Expansion, Robinson, IL. This project increases the Coker capacity from 28,200 bpd to 33,000 bpd. The assignment involved pump hydraulic, control valve, P&ID and PFD.
* Delek, Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Hydrotreater, Tyler, Texas. The assignment involved development of P&ID, equipment data sheets, and control valves.
* ALON USA, Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Hydrotreater, Big Spring, Texas. The assignment involved development of P&ID, amine system, equipment data sheets, control valves & relief system.

Preparing the heat and material balance. The assignment involved updated heater data sheet, heat integration, exchanger data sheet, utility balances.

* ConocoPhillip Zsorb Low Sulfur Gasoline Project, Sweeny, Texas. Preparing Szorb front end feed package for a 35,000 bpd Szorb unit which removes sulfur for FCC Cat Naphtha and produces 25 ppm low sulfur gasoline. The assignment involved development of the P&ID, line size, and equipment data sheet.

* Citgo Utility Studies, Lake Charles, Louisiana. Led process engineering for performing hydrogen system studies, including field verification of hydrogen piping, update hydrogen block flow diagram, plot flow diagram, and P&ID. Model the hydrogen system by using Arrow hydraulic program. Debottleneck the existing hydrogen system for the additional hydrotreater capacity.
* ExxonMobil Kizomba FPSO Topsides Project. Detail design 250,000 bpd FPSO at Angola Block 15. Prepared instrument data utilized Intergraph IN-TOOLS. The software provides design and data consistency checks that reduce errors, improved data accuracy, and links to Intergraph plant design system. Simulated process cooling medium system by used Fathom hydraulic program.
* Marathon Ashland Project, Marathon Ashland Catlettsburg No.4 Crude and Vacuum Unit Project, Catlettsburg, KY. Prepared front end feed package for a 131,000 bpd Crude and Vacuum unit. The assignment involved preparation of material balance, PFD, P&ID, equipment data sheet, hydraulic, pump calc, and size the Vacuum Heater transfer line.
* ExxonMobil LSM Scanfiner Project, ExxonMobil USA Co., Baytown Texas. Preparing front end feed package for an 112,000 bpd Scanfiner which removes sulfur from FCC Cat Naphtha and produces 30 ppm low sulfur gasoline. The assignment involved development of the material selection diagram, P&ID, heat exchanger data sheets & relief system.

* Reliance Delayed Coker: Contract Process Engineer: Evaluated the existing Delayed Coker & Gas plant which increased capacity from 122,444 bpd to 135,000 bpd and increased the lean oil rate to improve the propylene recovery. Simulations used Pro II. Preparing the heat and material balance. Reviewing the existing pump capacity and distillation column tray loading specification.

The assignment involved the finalization of Pit's, a line list, long lead items, startup, slop oil system, Vacuum offgas system, column internals, hydraulic calculations, and HAZOP.
* Venezuela Extra Heavy Oil Project (VEHOP): Detail design of 160,000 bpd Crude and Vacuum unit involving control valves, relief valves, PDS Pit's, hydraulic calculations, piping design codes, model reviews, and HAZOP.

* Developed a project for the heat exchangers between the FCC main column slurry and the Crude unit feed preheat to successfully debottleneck the bottom cooling of a FCC unit main column. This heat integration increased the crude heater inlet temperature by 125„aF.
