WORK EXPERIENCE:

* September 2005 – till now, Processing Consultant, Yazd, Iran
Working as an on-site consultant in the Choghart Mineral Processing Plant, cooperating with plant manager to optimize the Iron processing circuit.
* September 2004 – till now, Head of Mining Research Group,
Head of Mining Research Group within the Engineering Research Centre of Yazd University, involving in 3 research projects in different aspects of mineral processing
* September 2003 – 2008 now, Mining Consultant, Yazd, Iran
Working as Consultant in Yazd Mineral Research Centre (approval of research proposals and checking progress of the current projects).
* September 2002 – present, University of Yazd, Iran, Assistant Professor
Working as MSc course director in the Mining Engineering Department, teaching several units to MSc students (Flotation, Design of Mineral Processing Plants, Coal Preparation, Design of Experiments), Supervising MSc Students in their Projects (Beneficiation of Barite, Bauxite, Gold, and Plant Optimization), and BSc projects.

An industrial placement to conduct my M.Sc. project. Evaluating the current situation of the plant and reporting to the company director, with suggestions for increasing plant recovery and proposing more research. Responsible for daily plant sampling and research project. Coordinate the quality control and processing divisions.

My first experience of being a shift manager in an underground mine. The mine was in a development phase (i.e. excavating tunnels and shafts, exploration, construction). Drilling, blasting, ore transport and surveying were a part of daily job.

Responsible for conducting feasibility study of a medium size Talk deposit and producing a high standard report. Being promoted to take the responsibility of liasing with industry to make proposals for their projects. Conducting one of the projects on a Manganese ore beneficiation where, most of the work was completed before I left the job.

Training on all phases of underground coal and chromite mines (i.e. exploration, development, extraction and processing) during my B.Sc. study.

Achievements:
* Liaising with industry, preparing project proposals, conducting laboratory-scale research. Being promoted for the first high standard internal report presented.
* Proposing and conducting industrial-scale research in a large Coal Processing plant to improve the coal recovery. The report produced for my M.Sc. project was recognised as one of the best in the College and in the Company.
* Acquiring skills of experimental design for empirical modelling and optimisation, using various computer software products, presenting papers at international conferences.
* Excellent assessed performance in teaching at university and obtaining a scholarship for continuing education.
* Being awarded Mining Engineering Observing Certificate by the Ministry of Mines (Iran), in charge of a Barite and a Clay mine, visiting and reporting every month.
